The game was very interesting puzzle game! Not too hard, quite short. Still trying to figure out the secret achievements xD Looking forward to play the second game.

Overall I would recommend this game, maybe on sale. I think the concept is interesting and I like the atmosphere. The puzzles were decent for the most part, but there were some that didn't make a lot of sense. I think there is a lot of potential here and I see a lot of the ideas the devs were going for, but I think they don't all fit together necessarily. There are also several things in the environment that seem like hints or guides for the player to follow, but aren't actually anything. Overall decent game, but a little frustrating and confusing at times.

Discolored is a first-person puzzle game, where your objective is to restore color to a diner and its surrounding area which is mysteriously grayscale. The main puzzle mechanic is that you have to find RGB color-restoring prisms and put them in their slot, but sometimes when you restore a color it also restores a part of the world that hinders you. Length-wise, it can be finished in around 1-2 hours, but I appreciate how the devs allow us to save anytime, not relying on checkpoints. Unlike Godbey's previous game The Search, this one can be played fully in 3D like a walking sim. And personally, I like the concept of the puzzles and the silent atmosphere, so unique. It's not too hard, despite the minimalist storytelling there is a hint system. If you like puzzle games you should give this title a try. There is a sequel coming soon, and from the looks of it, Discolored 2 is gonna be like this but longer, with more story and horror elements thrown in.

Bought on sale and played through in a single sitting without a guide or hints, so it's not the most difficult game. I thought the puzzles were very logical for the most part, although I apparently missed a few achievements, so I'll likely go back through one more time with a guide. I love puzzle games, so this was a real treat and I'm very much looking forward to the sequel.
