It's honestly one of the best games I've played. Tormenting Ticket Jerry, domesticating Bigfoot, Dating the literal narrator, and punching god in the balls. Truly gives me the same feelings I had when playing DSaF. 10/10 would lay my eggs at the park again (randy best boy)

dialtown took to my brain with a hammer and replaced all the brain meat in there with thoughts about these object head people. the situation is dire. actual review, though, is that dialtown is fantastic. very comedy-focused (and it's good), with a lot of character depth and some of the most fascinating worldbuilding when you get real down into it. i think dialtown's cast of characters and the way them and their stories intertwine with the unique world they're in (the ""lore"" of which is revealed in interesting ways imo) is its strongest characteristic, alongside its incredibly strong character writing (this game has a couple dozen characters, and if you handed someone any couple lines of dialogue from the game without telling them who said it, there's a very good chance they'll be able to tell just from how they talk). i WILL say if you have a low tolerance for the sorta "wacky" (?? i dunno what words to use here) humor dt comes with it could probably get rather tiresome- especially early on and in some particular routes, dialtown's tone is absolutely unrelenting. if the humor hits with you like it does for me and my pals, that's a good thing. (my only other gripe: i really wish this game had more women in it. the female characters that are there are FANTASTIC but it's really something of a sausagefest.) dialtown is best played with friends on voice call + stream, also. HIGHLY recommend experiencing it that way. also, the roger dlc was really, really fucking good. like really good. buuut if you're playing the game for the first time (edit, changed my mind about this a bit) i would avoid the *evil route* of the dlc specifically before you've finished the whole of the basegame, which is started by choosing to scam roger after going to the industrial sector and talking to peter about helping roger with his presentation. so, when you're playing the game for the first time, i would recommend: complete the roger dlc good route (helping roger with his presentation) alongside the other 4 chapter 1/2 routes, then move on to chapter 3, the finale of the game. the roger dlc evil route kind of serves as the game's true Bad Ending, and is best experienced when you've got a good understanding of The Lore and such.

unhinged. watch a play through and if you like the vibes, play. do not just jump in blind. i quote this game regularly, but for literally everyones sake do not go in blind.

The game was fun and entertaining to play,i recomend playing with friends or doing silly nerations in your head to not feal so lonely for not having friends!
