dialtown took to my brain with a hammer and replaced all the brain meat in there with thoughts about these object head people. the situation is dire. actual review, though, is that dialtown is fantastic. very comedy-focused (and it's good), with a lot of character depth and some of the most fascinating worldbuilding when you get real down into it. i think dialtown's cast of characters and the way them and their stories intertwine with the unique world they're in (the ""lore"" of which is revealed in interesting ways imo) is its strongest characteristic. i WILL say if you have a low tolerance for the sorta "wacky" (?? i dunno what words to use here) humor dt comes with it could probably get rather tiresome- especially early on and in some particular routes, dialtown's tone is absolutely unrelenting. if the humor hits with you like it does for me and my pals, that's a good thing. (my only other gripe: i really wish this game had more women in it. the female characters that are there are FANTASTIC but it's really something of a sausagefest.) dialtown is best played with friends on voice call + stream, also. HIGHLY recommend experiencing it that way. also, the roger dlc was really, really fucking good. like really good. buuut if you're playing the game for the first time i'd avoid it altogether (started by going to the industrial sector from downtown) til you totally finish the basegame and have some time to digest it. theeeen return to the roger dlc. my recommendation, at least.

unhinged. watch a play through and if you like the vibes, play. do not just jump in blind. i quote this game regularly, but for literally everyones sake do not go in blind.

The game was fun and entertaining to play,i recomend playing with friends or doing silly nerations in your head to not feal so lonely for not having friends!

Possibly one of the greatest dating sims I've ever played. Granted the only other dating sim I've played was the bird game but it doesn't matter. I have never played a game with such a relatable protagonist. This game will change your life. You will laugh, cry, cry again but happily, and be EXTREMELY aroused playing this game. But be warned, it may consume you. I keep forgetting to finish my assignments because every time I open my computer I go "oh hey I should play phone game". I might fail bio which is going to be pretty embarrassing considering I'm majoring in bio but you know what it's okay. Phone game will soothe your woes. Please make randy real so I can compress him. The phones and printers and other items haunt my nights and waking hours. Man I wish men were real.

I used to have this dialtown plush that I used to pour milk on and suck the milk back out of it and it was sopping wet all the time 😭I used to slam it against walls and it would make a loud thud My brother saw me suck milk out of it once and I got sad when he made fun of me and I didn't pour milk on it for a week, and it got rock hard and smelly and my my mom had to throw it away IT WAS SO HEAVY I brought it to school one time and my backpack was soaked and I made my friends hold him and they were upset. It's so nice seeing him on my screen now too. I love Randy Jade
