It does take a while to get into it. The tutorial is great at first but then kinda just throws you to the wolves. I did have to restart bc I was prioritizing the criminal lesson challenges but then was broke AF. Once you get the hand of it though you're locked in

I really enjoy this game but it has lots of rough patches. I give it a B-. Great idea, the core game is good, but some easy details missed. One such nagging issue is after you purchase some land to make a new drug dealing chicken shop, there might be multiple parking spot areas. Which ones will your drivers use? Will they just choose the parking spot that is closest to your storage door for easiest quick offloading of your illicit goods (like ANYONE with a brain)? Nope. Okay, fine the driver bots suck. Is there a mechanic for designating 'loading zones' to compensate for this? Also nope. And this sort of thing is the biggest problem with the game. It's a management game. If you don't give me anything to manage then make the bots smart in that area. If you are going to leave the bots stupid, give me something to manage their stupidity. And you see this theme of an issue in multiple spots (drivers, guards, product production being limited to only assigning employees to the whole product line rather than sub-parts, engineers and cleaners not focusing efforts on most critical areas). So if you like the concept and are experienced with management games (cause the tutorial is pretty bad and lots of stuff in game is not the best explained) and can handle the rough patches then this is worth picking up.

This game is fun for a while but it needs a lot more polish. At this stage, this game should be in Early Access. There is a lot of potential here in the mechanics and they could really scale this game up with other businesses, equipment, worker types and 'merchandise'. At some point it gets extremely bugged out and you might have to start a new game. Here are my complaints: 1. Seems to be a memory leak, up to point the game gets jerky especially when placing items. They become invisible and you cannot move it or sell it. After restarting the game, the items are visible again but you cannot get rid of some of them by moving or selling. On restarting, all my businesses are also reduced to 0 star rating and I cannot raise it back. 2. At some point, workers stop harvesting certain plants due to some bug. 3. Police raids start too close to the edge of your building zone. It is impossible to respond in time. 4. Guards have terrible response to firefighting 5. The timed orders are too short 6. Micro-management of new workers zones, equipment and tasks gets tedious 7. It is not clear how 5 star business rating can be achieved. There are a lot more annoyances and QoL improvements then I could list but it is still a good game for the most part. Hope the devs fix this and expand on the game.

I bought this game before the devs added cop raids and came back yesterday to give the new content a try. I had stopped playing a few months ago due to the game breaking bugs I kept encountering. Such as workers unable to enter some rooms for no explainable reason, employees sitting idle during their breaks and dying due to unmet needs even though there are fully functional bathrooms/break room/kitchens etc. and many more Those were all old bugs and I was so hopeful for all the new changes.... I played several hours last night and was very disappointed. The intro is incredibly long with no ability to skip it I could find (please tell me if I missed it) and some of the game play is so boring and takes hours. Beginning of the game is very hindered by waiting in real time until you have enough money to buy anything. The drug delivery system is a huge issue for me and I'm sad to see it didn't get changed at all. The new cop raids are way to harsh. I have 6 employees and one guard and the cop kills everyone if I don't pay and destroys all my equipment???? You can't even go back to a previous save. I'm very disappointed and won't be coming back until a few more updates. I really enjoy this game but too many issues for me to enjoy playing. It's just frustrating right now. I am going to still recommend this game but that's with the hope that the devs change a few things in the near future.

I like it, though it does get very same-y midway. Should this game still be in the development stages I would love to see more direct control over what part of the process our workers actually do, eg. your on green but only taking the plants to be dried. Schedules aren't fun as they are shared between all businesses and selecting which one for a worker isn't a drop down which it should be. I would really love the devs to look at how Rimworld modders fixes some of these issues, I would love to be able to make room policies, eg. this develery room only accepts toasted etc, rather then needing to modifiy every single shelf. Need a better way to see and manage schedules in general, its hard to see and keep track of which worker is working when, impossible to see how many are attached to a time slot and you also can't filter the list by tasks. If this game gets a sequel or development continues, I would love the idea that the factory is also where you need to create the products required for your business, with the option of importing them from someone else or out of town. basic but I enjoyed it, I could see if going far with some more love and random events would be a very good addition ("We have a mole" or "Rival has opened up a factory")
