I've seen in some of the other reviews that people have said this game is being developed by 1 person. If thats true, this game is extremely impressive. It's got some jank and goofy mechanics, but thats what makes these types of games feel unique. So much of the game is well done, its easy to forgive the little broken things. If you like games like Rust, DayZ, or Project Zomboid, you wont be dissapointed. I've payed a lot more money for way worse games. If theres a world where you read this dev, don't listen to people that only have negative things to say. You absolutely cooked with this game, DON'T GIVE UP!
========= The good: ========= - Looting is very addicting - There's quests - Lots of modifications to the guns - Base building is simple but satisfying - Keys & locked locations give exploration purpose - Bunkers and military areas feel rewarding to loot ======== The bad: ======== - Some quests are impossible in singleplayer (e.g. Player Killed from Ghost) - Audio breaks when it's raining or when you have more than one car running at the same time - Some mechanics are not explained and are really confusing (like farming, the distillery, etc.) - Some items exist but have no clear use (like 9V batteries) - There are no real hints or the ability to set markers on the map, so you have to remember everything, and if you're looking for something specific, information on the internet is limited - Inventory management is annoying due to all the dragging of items required, especially for/into nested bags - Car batteries drain unrealistically fast - The skills system is really confusing — after 30 hours, I’ve only been able to learn 2 skills. There’s no XP bar, I’ve killed lots of zombies and completed all the quests. Also, passive skills level up way too slowly to the point of being useless - Updates are not very frequent, as it seems the game is developed by only one person, which might also explain why many assets are from the UE catalog. FOREWARNING: THIS IS NOT A FINISHED GAME AS OF 11/3/2025. THIS REVIEW WILL BE RE-EVALUATED AFTER RELEASE DATE. Now with that out of the way; why did I thumb it up? Or review it at all? It's simply because of the developer. The amount of work and effort this guy has put into this passion is just astronomical. He completely revamped the game trying to stick to his dream while at the same time trying to work with the community on what they want. It's a fine line between artistry and business and finding the balance between the two is paramount to success. The idea of the game is a zombie survival sandbox that brings memories of games like Project Zomboid. It can swap between 1st and 3rd and do things like aiming on corners. One of the key features that really draws me to it is i'm a bit of a loot goblin. I like collecting and making a beautifully furnished base. This game has thousands of items to furnish which is where a lot of games lack. Now you have to take it all with a grain of salt because it is rough. Like I said; he revamped it pretty much twice fully so there are a lot of bugs and tweaks to be done. He recently picked up some fellow humans to help advance further on updates which is a huge step as well. If there is anything to pull from my review is this.. Keep and eye on this game. It will be a winner when it's done. I don't have much faith these days but I'm all in on this one!
My man, after reading your response and you dropping an instant update today not only do i need to say sorry for how i worded my review, i had to change it. I have almost 40 hours into your game. Its had me pretty hooked as well as the friends ive bought it for. I was upset after a long day and died in a stupid way then wrote that review. I have no idea how hard it is to code, polish and release a game. So i have no room to speak on it, i could have been alot nicer with my feedback. Thank you for listening to the community like ive watched you do a multitude of times.
