I can wholeheartedly recommend this game! I used to play it way back on Origin, but the game is so good that there's not a single trace of regret buying it twice to support the developers! 10/10 would buy again

This is hard (maybe?) and the gameplay is clumsy, but it's pretty okay. Probably would be better on mobile.

I'm more neutral about the game than anything else; the game isn't BAD, but I wouldn't really say it's GOOD either. I still enjoyed it and still plan to put a few more hours into it, but only passively. - Several stations deteriorate when they don't need to. Research, crafting and scavenging stations, for example, only deteriorate for the sake of making things harder on you than they already are and make very little sense otherwise. They also deteriorate rapidly, which makes it incredibly difficult to keep station quality at a minimum when the maximum resources you're able to gain per day BARELY go above what you're forced to use. - And FOOD deteriorates stupidly fast. You get a lot of food at the beginning of the game and hunger is not much of a concern until a few days in, but you're still forced to use your food ASAP before it rots, which means you end up essentially wasting food items that give a minimum of 20 food points on someone who only needs 10-12 to bring their hunger back down to zero. - The monster attack mechanic makes no sense. If searching a backpack on an unlocked square of the island requires the scavenging skill then why do I have to pick the character with the highest STEALTH skill for better odds at avoiding a monster attack? And whether I'm attacked or not I can still loot the backpack regardless. This interaction should rely on how high or low the required skill number is and THAT is what should determine how much you're able to loot. There should be no monster attack at all. - Survival is a realism dependent genre, but realism is pretty hit or miss with this game. You should be able to scavenge wood, fruit, stones and medicinal plants while exploring the jungle. -- You should be able to craft spears for fishing and hunting instead of having to wait for the fishing rod and hunting bow to get researched and then subsequently crafted, both which take several days and resources to do (this is in bad combination with how quickly food deteriorates, forcing you to use it before it rots, as well as how little resources you get when you have to use most of it just to keep your stations at a minimum so things go faster). -- You should be able to recover fatigue points every night and the shelter should allow you to recover more fatigue points. It makes no sense that they don't sleep at night. Overall, like I said, I don't think it's a good game or bad game. I think it's an okay game which provides an alright amount of challenge, strategy and fun, but it's not a game I see playing very much of in the long run because of how atrociously balanced and unrealistic everything is. If you decide to buy it be prepared to lose and readjust your strategy constantly. I am ONLY recommending this because I think the developers are improving and I want to support growth, not hinder it.

Really fun game, if you're into simulation with a bit of a storyline. I admit that the routine gets a little more tedious around the halfway point, but it's not such a long game that it really decreases playability. It was a little annoying when random events brought the affection between characters down, but it also added a nice unpredictability, so I'm divided about that. All in all, good mechanics, really nice visuals, and adequate writing!

The game devs went through a lot of effort to make a fascinating story and well designed challenge for the players.
