Definitely worth the 10$. The game is still being worked so the only complaint I have is you can pretty much get through all the levels in about 20 hours and after that its just replaying them or playing a different difficulty but in future updates that wont be a problem. (Update. I have beat the game on the hardest difficulty and if felt like a chore. Not because the game is bad but because the only way to increase the difficulty in a turn based game like this is to give the enemies more health and increase the RNG to effect your play though. The first few missions I was restarting constantly if I got a bad card or if my character missed even one shot and once I was basically unkillable towards the end of the game it was a battle of patience if I wanted to go through the tedious task of killing the beefy enemies and swapping turns of attack till all of them were dead praying that in the processed more enemies didn't just spawn in for no reason then repeating the process in all the other areas. That said I did enjoy playing this and hope the developer adds a button to speed the gameplay up.)

Careful! This game was in my ignore list due to an impression it made on me initially in Steam Discovery. I was wrong: it's a real gem. Thanks to Vormithrax I gave it a try! Very deep and engaging combat mechanics, and good balance between missions and inventory management make a very addictive concoction even in early access. I'm 40+ mission into Apocalypse difficulty already. And once again the game managed to astonish me, since originally I didn't think it was even possible to bash through it's first 15 missions. Such a long learning curve, but it was worth it! If only graphics was a bit better, at least so that that you could actually see the real equipment, not just weapons, on your mercenaries instead of their default looks. Other than that, at least in terms of gameplay, it's a solid 11 of 10. Bravo!
