I played this after Elden Ring, and going in I thought this game would be tiers below the masterpiece that Elden Ring is. Yet I was completely wrong, this game not only holds it ground but holds up very well almost a decade after release. Stunning visual locations, good enemy/boss variety and expansive combat. This game is incredible and I loved exploring each new area looking for the next boss to take down. Truly a must play in the souls series for anyone.

Died over 80 times to tutorial boss. Then I died over 70 times to a dude with a katana. Then I died 55 times to a huge monster. But it's okay because i have a cool sword.

would love to say that almost 3 hours into the game I've rage quit to a sick ass boss fight like a dragon or something, but nope... just a big ass tree with testicles, that pisses itself and farts on me 10/10 souls experience, would recommend. (i wanna kms)

Another fantastic Souls game that I really enjoyed, considering it got me into the Dark Souls trilogy and other soulslike games. Unfortunately there are no cats in this game but at least there is a ring dedicated to cats :3
