got this as a gift and it wouldn't load at all so i refunded it. now i bought it on sale and it's been really fun seeing all the old characters again. i think my enjoyment is driven purely by nostalgia and i don't think i'd pay the full price for this even with my attachment to the characters. however, if you like danganronpa and the characters, it's a fun play.

I like this game I feel like playing it I can forget the murders of characters, I recommend if you want to play a normal game as characters you love.

This is a conditional recommendation; if you answer NO to any of the questions, DO NOT BUY! Have you played Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc? Have you played Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair? Have you played Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls? Have you played Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony? Have you cleared all of them? Did you go beyond clearing the games to experience character lore (free time events; minigames; etc)? Did you... at least not dislike... the Ultimate Talent Development Plan in V3? Are you willing to play V3's UTDPlan but bigger and better? Are you okay with gacha to collect cards (playable characters AND hundreds of permanent microbuff cards)? Do you love the characters of Danganronpa? Do you wish you could see more free time events between them all? Now this one's important... Is this game on SALE?! Remember, if you answered NO to anything, then absolutely do not buy under any circumstance. Also, a warning. The overarching story of this game doesn't seem to be replayable, and once experienced... it's gone. People have been known to have trouble resetting progress... reset may be intentionally especially difficult since there is a monetised option for collecting the cards... y'know, with real money (please don't actually use that thing, lol, you can get them all for free... eventually). But the lack of replay/review function for the overall story is concerning. It was actually kind'a neat... Basically, this is for hardcore Danganronpa lovers who didn't mind the UTDP in V3 (and maybe even liked it). It's a'ight and I like it.

If you want a new Danganronpa story, this game does NOT have that. If you want to spend more time with all characters from the previous games, though, this game DOES have that. It delivered on what it promised (read the "About this game" section of the game's store page, it's all there), 10/10.

This game pairs the characters of Danganronpa with a non-Despair setting with a board game and rpg mechanic. I don't know if it's exactly worth as much as it's sold for but I do really like it and it's just a bigger version of the Talent Development Plan from V3.
