As much as i love this game, i do have a few complaints. the sword unlock cost is way too low. i played for abt an hr and already got them all and now i have an excess of useless points. The swords also dont feel much different from each other. itd be cool if they had more abilites, like the popblade doing extra damage to frozen enemies, the bombblade giving more dmg to the missile upgrade, etc. Not to mention the enemies get a little stale quick, would be awesome if there were more to go up against. either way though, its definitely worth the price of admission, i can only hope future updates are being planned.

Cute little bullet hell roguelike where you move your mouse around to attack enemies. There is decent amount of different upgrades, some being better than others; as well as several different 'character mouse' with their own unique ability. Very straightforward and easy to learn. Though some gripes would be that there is currently no cloud save; and though there is some replayability, there is not a whole lot at the moment as after a couple hours, you may have gone through all the characters there currently are. Looking forward to see how this game progresses with any additional content.

If you're like me in that strategy games make you feel a bit dumb, and you enjoy fast-paced, reactionary games with little skill requirement, this one's a good go. I'm not a huge gamer myself, but the gameplay is very intuitive, you get the rules pretty much immediately. It's a small game, but it doesn't need to be big - I got all of the achievements in 10-11 hours-ish. It's short, sweet, and delightful all the same.

[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33025671-Missi-the-Achievement-Huntress/] Please see my curator page for more games that are well worth your time Approximate amount of time to 100%: 10h+ Estimated achievement difficulty: 8/10 Minimum number of playthroughs needed: You need to play several rounds to get to the 100k score with every blade Is there a good guide available: You don't need any Multiplayer achievements: No Missable achievements: No Grinding Achievements: No DLC-Only achievements: No Speedrun achievements: No Time-gated achievements: No RNG-achievements: No Does difficulty affect achievements: No difficulty option Unobtainable/glitched achievements: No I have been looking for this game even before it was released, as it just looked like a lot of fun. And it turned out, it is! The gameplay mechanic is simple but so addictive. Your cursor is the blade, and to kill enemies, you have to poke them. However, the enemies will attack you too. Gladly you'll be able to choose from a variety of different power-ups and skills. This can lead to nice combinations that will make you feel overpowered... until you meet the boss :P. Not every item feels as powerful as the other, but I have this complaint even more about the power-ups. Having the enemies wait a bit to attack at the start of each weave feels like 0,5 seconds of waiting before they attack you.. in my opinion not worth it, to get that power up. And there are more I always skipped because they don't add that much compared 2 extra health, healing 2 health when picking up a heart, enemy bullets being slower, and the clover to find more hearts. This made that I always went for the same few and would use my rerolls to get them. Gladly the different skills feel more different and made each run feel different. There are different blades in the game, and some are easier than others. The main difference is the active skill each blade has. I didn't use this feature as much as I maybe should have because to activate it you have to click the right mouse button, but in the hectic play that feels uncomfortable somehow. I wish that there was a setting in the menu to change it to the left or the right mouse button. I think I would use them more if it was the right mouse button. However, that would also maybe lead to accidentally using the skill. Another small downside is that the currency you get from runs is very useless very quickly. Once you have bought all the blades it is useless. I wish that you could buy potions or extra lives or something with it, for those that struggle with the game. Cursorblade is such an addictive game. It is very bad for people with RSI as it consists of hectically moving your cursor around to avoid attacks and to attack the enemies. I wanted to play in long sessions as I just enjoyed the game so much, but after an hour or 2, my hand just hurt too much and I needed a break. The achievements are very challenging. You have to get a 100K score with every blad,e which is already challenging, but mean... doing that with the glass blade is so much worse. After trying to get that for 8h now, I haven't managed to get it yet. There are also achievements for killing the boss and beating 50 waves. Killing the boss is a challenge, but you'll have to do that to get to the 100K score anyway. furthermore, with the number of weapons, there are, if you keep doing your best you'll be able to get to wave 50 in one of your runs. So for me, the real struggle is to get 100K in a run with the glass blade because when you get hit, you get 2 damage, which means you can only get hit 1 (or with a powerup 2) times, and after that you're dead. I haven't given up yet on that last achievement. I hope one day to be lucky in a run and just get it.
