The tenth Cube Escape follows the story of detective Dale Vandermeer who finds himself trapped in two different universes and needs to escape. Cube Escape: Paradox will be released together with the accompanying Paradox: A Rusty Lake Film.

One of the best in the series. Despite being far down in the play order, Paradox could absolutely be played as a challenging (albeit confusing) standalone puzzler. The solutions are complex but fair and most players (who don't use guides or walkthroughs) will benefit from keeping notes.

As always, great art, great puzzles, great story and new interesting mechanics. This time though, they added some twists. The game uses FMV and a short film (you can find on YouTube or within the game through a link) that aid the game and interact with the game. It will give you clues and codes for extra easter eggs, or more story. Similar to an ARG but not quite. It definitely was a great experience. The casting was perfect and so was their acting. Given the different dynamics, the puzzles are even more interesting and a delight to try and solve them. This was divided into 2 chapters, the first one being free and the second a dlc. Technically the full game is just the dlc price. All of their games have a pretty good price for the game play time and content. Again, this is a part of a very story rich series which I fully recommend. Cube Escape: Paradox focuses on the detective Dale Vandermeer, with references and continuations to earlier Rusty Lake/Cube Escape games. While this game is free, the second chapter is a paid DLC. It also comes with a companion movie! The gameplay is the same as earlier games, interesting and unique puzzles together with a somewhat coherent story. The soundtrack is well-made and I love how they included FMV scenes from the companion movie. If you're a previous fan of the games from the Rusty Lake devs, this one is definitely recommend and you can play it for the price of free (and the second chapter isn't that expensive either)
