Crysis Warhead is a standalone expansion for Crysis and [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/ZechsX18999/recommended/17300/]I highly recommended Crysis. Crysis Warhead plays similar to Crysis, but its story is less interesting and only half as long.

Its short playtime is not affecting the game's quality. The game is still fun with solid gameplay and plot. I glad that finally i know about what is happening in Crysis in Psycho's perspective

Crysis: Die Hard Edition Warhead is a standalone expansion for Crysis 1 that follows the events of the first game but this time you play as Psycho (The British Dude, Basically Jason Statham). You run around the island as the aliens begin their attack all over the place with every weapon you could possibly need including the all new Dual SMG's. Guess we finally developed the ability for men to multi-task in this iteration. Story is ...passable because I enjoyed the gameplay. More of an action shooter then the first with a few moments where it makes sense to stealth but its faster paced and quite a bit shorter at only 3-4 hours as compared to Crysis's 8-9 hours. Enjoyable and obviously... still looks great. Though in this one the shading does seem to be a little flatter and the textures not as crisp. Feels a little rushed out. 7.4/10 - Must Play alongside Crysis 1

2 minute TLDR: Warhead is a story spin-off focusing on Sykes instead of Nomad, so you are following along with the main Crysis story. Best to play through the vanilla campaign first to get the most out of the story elements dropped here. A couple of new guns too from memory, basically more of the same - worth going through if you haven't tried it before.

(Playtime not representative of real hours; played on several other platforms.) A game I will forever consider great. I grew up with Crysis and this game is a welcome addition to the series. Really, this game is just Psycho's perspective of Crysis 1 after "Assault". I write this after what is probably not going to be my last playthrough, and hey - it only crashed once! Also, "vsync" in options is not really vsync - it's just a 60fps cap (Unless steam fps counter is lying to me) Do note that this is NOT a remaster. Crysis Warhead was not remastered, and honestly, it's probably for the better. Dialog is kinda awkward because it was written originally in Hungarian afaik. And, might I add, the Hungarian version of the game is absolutely BRILLIANT in terms of dialog. Unfortunately, they didn't capture the same magic in English, in that regard. There also appears to be some mistranslations whenever there was a Hungarian double negative. If you can understand Hungarian and can get your hands on a Hungarian version of the game, I highly recommend going for it. Regardless, highly recommend; must buy.
