The creator of this game should hit up the casino, cause this MFer can't lose. Another brilliant game from a superb dev. Not everything is ultra polished, but this game's got a lot of character and it's awesome to play. I've played almost all the games this guy has put out, love em all. I mean seriously, why are there no copy cats of this great idea? Fighting a fluid, it's awesome. Knuckle cracker has unashamedly created the same game 4 times, adding features and depth here and there technically, but it's the same idea reiterated over and over. He's like the Cannibal Corpse of the video game world. Those guys just made the same album 10 times and the fans couldn't stop buying it. I'd buy 30 versions of this game. It's a gold mine.

Really good tactical tower-defense game, where every map is a unique puzzle that can be solved in several ways but requires some planing after the initial trial and error phase. I've already got a lot of fun out of it, and am not even done with the campaign yet. Does require some free time though, as you need around 1h per map the first time around.

Great game!- non-"twitchy" RTS with a lot of turtle mechanics which enjoy. I like the slow push across the map as you build up momentum. Sometimes the game throws up sudden emergency, but generally non-stressful to play. Campaign is fun, ~30 hours if you play slow like I did. Something itches my brain just right as you clear up the creeper mess and purge the world of that evil goop.

This may be considered a tower defense game, but don't be fooled, it's anything but typical. You're going to battle with alien technology that produces a planet consuming fluid. If that sounds boring, don't worry because there are also enemy units you'll have to deal with as well. There is some resource management, although it doesn't require any intense micro-management like many city-builder type games do. You basically just watch that you're not over-spending, which is critically important when it comes to your active cannons and mortars, because their ammo is made from the same resource as new structures. There are a variety of terrain types with different effects as well. There are no difficulty settings, rather the difficulty is determined by the map/ scenario design. The map editor is excellent, allowing for quickly slapping a playable scenario down, or you can spend the time required to customize a theme, and beautify it. You can scale the textures up/down, tile/ de-tile them, slap down decals and overlays, and even import images that can be interpreted into a playable map. Upload your maps, and play maps that have been created by others. All in all, I rate this game a 9.7/10.

There is something very calming about chunking bombs into an ocean of flesh-eating slime. You could play this fast-paced and highly reactive to keep yourself on edge, or slow-paced and methodical to practice your prognostication, or create your own singular objectives to challenge whatever aspects of your skill sets you like, or just kill time while waiting on your STD results or your probation officer to call back. The modding community is very helpful for indulging in whatever psychosis you please.
