The ground starts shaking, light bulbs are breaking - and something rather unusual is happening right behind the walls of your very room. Equipped with nothing but wit and courage, you slowly descend into a world inhabited by avian folk and seemingly deadly furniture monsters.

Creaks is a puzzle, hand-drawn and atmospheric game developed and published by Amanita Design.

'Creaks' embodies fully the revered Amanita ethos - ridiculous amounts of charm and whimsy along with stunning hand-drawn scenes and animation. What sets Creaks apart is that it stands alone as a well designed, fully fledged puzzle game. It's not just 'point and click and see what happens' (What I have seen in all other Amanita games), its introductions and explorations of genuine puzzle mechanics that increase in scope and complexity as the game progresses. The story is kinda meh, and I would like to have seen some more difficult levels, but the whole thing was just a delight to play through.

Man, how can you not love Amanita. Beautiful game, stunning hand-drawn animation, puzzles are not too easy, not too difficult, perfect balance. Their best puzzle game since Machinarium. I managed to finish the whole game without looking at YT (I did need some help on finding all the secret rooms though). Love all the little games that you can play with the playable paintings, they are basically a game within a game. The story is good as well, I just love how the whole map is basically a large nest where little bird-like creatures are struggling to cope with a cat-like monster. I need to get my hands on the Collector's Box edition of this game.

This game was quite a surprise gem! Came across it by accident and it instantly intrigued me by its visual style and character. After completing the game in its entirety, I can confidently say this game is a must play for anyone who enjoys puzzles, unique story telling, eccentric art styles, and just a fantastic game to boot. I absolutely loved every second of it! The puzzles were well balanced, yet challenging even for veterans. The music was superb and really captured the atmosphere of their art style and theme. I was deeply saddened when this game came to an end... in a good way of course. There really wasn't a negative I could find in this title. Give it a try and I promise you will love it! If this developer ever makes a game of this caliber again, I will surely be checking it out!

Incredible!! Beautiful art and animation, mesmerizing music, and despite there being no actual dialogue the story is very well communicated to the player. The riddles were fun, even when i got caught up sometimes i believe they were all fair and it worked out in the end :) You can tell the people that made this game cared about it deeply. If you like cozy riddle games I definitely recommend this one. (was about 9 hours for me) I love it so much. If you reading this worked on the game i love you so much and i hope you have an amazing life.
