I think its a shame that this game didn't get enough success to keep development going as I think it was a fun little and quite unique survival crafting game. With hundreds of games coming out every week on Steam its hard to get noticed these days. At least they gave us an offline mode so that when the official servers go down we can still play. RIP Coreborn!! I had high hopes!

Since the development of the game has been discontinued and the studio has been closed, it no longer makes sense in my view to formulate major criticisms or requests for improvements. Since one of the co-founders of the studio is a friend of mine, I would rather take this opportunity to point out how demanding game development has become, because I have experienced how difficult it is to survive as a game studio in these times. The idea behind the project was ambitious but due to the love of the story and the genre. The core team came together to realize a dream. They created a world that would allow everyone to become a part of the story of this wondrous land and the history of the Ultracore. In the end, they failed, but in an age where games are often developed to maximize profits, the team wanted to give something back to the fans. Thank you for the wonderful time and the opportunity to be part of history. I wish all Blankhans employees all the best and every success with their future projects.

Abysmally terrible inventory space. The tutorial doesn't teach you very much. No mini map, so you constantly have to look at the map to see where you are and where you're going. Got graped by a horse. Building structures don't square up with each other. But the Jibbling kid in the tutorial sings a cute song, so that makes up for the rest of the game sucking. +1

A great game to chill on with friends and do your survival and base building thing. Really a big fan of how towns can be kind of shared, or have mutual goals that everyone can work toward. It's just the right size without feeling like I've accidentally signed up for a MMO but also offers more grit that similar games in it's category. If you play SOLO, it'll for sure feel very tedious but that may in fact be why it advertises itself as a social game. :)

The first thing that jumped at me was the music and art style, from world building to the friendly NPC look and great atmosphere. Played both solo and co-op, and have to admit the experience was awesome while playing with friends. Gameplay is fun and the learning curve for combat and skill progression wasn't extreme. I'm usually a console/controller gamer, so my only regret is the fact that the game doesn't have native controller support. Would love to see this coming in the future.
