Beautiful game - had a charming story with zero wasted dialogue. This story was the biggest drawing point for me, I would stay up as late as I possibly could playing the game because I wanted to see what was next, or what new surprises awaited me. Mechanics were great too - fights could drag on for a little while at times, and figuring out the pattern for beating enemies could make them slightly repetitive, but as the game dragged on encounters began to get increasingly complex, and demanding I use all the tools in my arsenal. This game made me happy, and I am grateful it exists the way it does.

alright game, rest in peace riot forge; one of the few good things this shithole of a company had edit: backtracking is very annoying in this game. you have to reopen every door and refight every mob room. i recommend getting the gadged that shows you every collectible asap so its less painful once you finish the game. there is also no fast travel. on top of that you need to actually farm A LOT of the currency to purchase every single item for the achievements. also jinxs area is obnoxious af (ofc it is fk jinx)

Great game. A light metroidvania with a phenomenal art style. The difficulty can be adjusted in a very detailed manor with different values for individual aspects. Zaun looks stunning, the general aesthetic is really cool and suits the game very well - it has a very comic-book look to it, which fits with each boss fight appearing as the "villain of the week". In order to explore all paths and find all chests, each level area only requires every gadget you unlock before it as well as the area's gadget. So eg. an early level area will not have paths you could only traverse with late game abilities, meaning you can clear the level areas to 100% the first time you are there if you put in the time and effort. The only exception being the hub area, where you unlock more paths over time. This allows for minimal to no tedious backtracking. The areas in the game are interconnected in a very fluid and satisfying manner. They all center around the hub, and it really feels like one big city. There is a bit of a spike in platforming difficulty towards the end, so keep that in mind in case you don't like 2D platforming. Other than that, I can only recommend it.

Ekko, The Boy Saviour. Ekko is pure energy. His abilities flow like a dance, with sharp precision and clever strategies that make him an unstoppable force. You don’t just fight as him—you think like him, using every second to your advantage to overcome challenges and outsmart enemies. Ekko>Arcane The soundtrack and visuals elevate his story even further. Every beat and every detail in the setting seem to whisper, "This is Ekko, the boy who defies time and never gives up." It's not how much time you have, it's how you use it.
