This game makes me more infuriated than Dark Souls 1 through 3..... Grinding since pre-release, getting the best gear from grinding... Then micro-transaction players who arrived in the last year or so buy their way to top gear and top units, and slaughter me.... So, definitely recommended... Kinda. Sorta. If you want to smash your keyboard 3 times in a row during a match from frustration of being annihilated alongside half your team from a dude who paid $50 to buy his way to top units. (This isn't a joke, I lost 4 matches in a row from guys using units that practically REQUIRE you to pay your way to unlocking them, unless you play 24/7 for the entire season). Other than that, you'll get a pretty great community, cool looking aesthetics, and some interesting battles... If half are unbalanced for one side or the other.

If you're into real time strategy, big field battles, and competitive melees then this might be for you. if I were to quantify the game then I would call it 1/2 Dynasty Warriors and 1/2 Mount and Blade merged together into a free to play mmo. What that means is, you will always be controlling your hero in battle and your hero has access to an array of classes and skills to pick from. But to unlock them all will require a lot of time and money so be ready for that (as per your typical free to play). You will also be commanding units in a variety of battles modes, unique events, or open world combat. Units can be unlock through the unit tree, seasonal ranking, or just outright buying them with in-game money so once again be ready to eat up some time and money. The events and available units are always expanding or changing so it's important to keep up to date with all the adjustments and strategies because this isn't a game for casual first timers. Overall, whether you're into pvp matches, pve matches, or open world warfare this is a good pick for playing a dynasty era experience.

Is it a good game? Kinda..... For new players game is going to be ... very not fun, as you are going to have huge unit gap.... Most of players with 1+k hours have unlocked some of seasonal units.... unless they have paid for them... 2 options... pay or grind... paying is the easy way out... grinding... for one seasonal unit to unlock it could take from 1 whole day up to even a week or 2 if you are lucky enough.... Territory wars/Clan wars These take 2 times a week... at specific time... sadly not everyone has enough time or free time at that set time to enjoy them... HUGE bonus is that you actually get your own group of 15 people vs another 15 people to actually use some neet tactics... Sad part about them are... Diplomacy... as far as I have been part of them... sometimes it tends into drama and people dont get actually to enjoy them... Servers SOOO lets talk about servers.... Long story short... GARBAGE! they are utterly one huge pile of garbage. nothing more nothing less. over all Game is playable, it is out of date tho, sadly there arent any other games to compare the game to besdies blood and steel... lets not talk about that game tho... If you have money and/or time to grind , you might find some fun into normal battles, Territory wars/clan wars... not so much, really depends on your team/clan Should i suggest the game? Yes Do i wanna play the game ? No. Ive had my glory in the game. Would i play it again? - Yes, with friends who also dont play the game anymore. Should you try the game? - Yes, just don't get too serious about it, have fun instead. Newbie friendly? - Heck no! Community? - Can be Toxic, but mostly friendly-ish.
