It took me nearly 20 years to finally play the campaign... and its surprisingly good. There's been many versions released over the years (and even an update of this one?). No idea what they're like, but this one is? It's fun. Or as fun as commanding unnamed soldiers to their slaughter can be, which I guess is pretty accurate for WWII Generals.

Company of heroes is nice game! Concept of long term thinking is really important in this game movement sometimes feels off but it is not a big problem The early-mid-late game are really well defined in this game compared to others. There is a moment where you defend then you combine forces to attack and when your attack fails you use HEAVY ARMOR to break enemy lines only to get critical damages and lose the tank lol THEN YOU GET ANOTHER HEAVY ARMOR!

Finally playing this game 18 years after release after a long break from PC Gaming. I am surprised at how well it stands up compared to modern strategy games, the cut scenes may show their age graphically but the main game looks really good in fairness. Picking this up at just a few pounds gives great value for money with the included DLC's. Having a blast playing it and I'm looking forward to playing COH 2 upon completion.

A great game for nostalgia. I currently dont like the state of CoH 3 right now, so I went back to play this game. Game has the same charm as it always did. Although the community isn't that much active in this. Still fun to skirmish against bots. Also the Star Wars Frontlines mod in this is amazing and is still being worked on currently by devs.
