It's dead and development has seemingly ceased. Combots was for all intents and purposes a good game with potential, that still has value as a game to romp around in with friends, or mess about with the VR mode.

This game is very much like war robots but heaps less poly. It does work with VR mode but you wont be able to see any of the HUD around your screen.

Great gameplay - lots of fun weapon types and classes to play around with. One recommendation: It'd be nice to be able to modify your setup during spectating of rounds.

Very Fun little Game. The first thing that came to my mind was: "Frag like its 1999." And this is pretty much it. Instead of picking up Weapons and overall Pickups, you have 5 Robot Classes that differ in Health, Speed, and Method of Moving as in flying, walking, driving and being able to walk on Walls. But thats not all. What all Robots have in common are their Weapons.. well, they all start with different Weapons, but you can buy new Weapons and Additional Effects like placeable Turrets with the Ingame Currency you earn trough ingame Matches and thus adapt each Bot to your Playstyle. The Game is very minimalistic in its Artstyle, but thats okay, it somehow gives the Gmae its character. The Game is also very fast paced and Intense. Theres barely time to catch some breath. And thats great Fun. Overall the few Matches i had were great Fun, i cant put it otherwise. It doesnt even come close to offering the Content of an Unreal Tournament 2004, but tbh that would be strange if it were. Appreciated, but still strange. Nonetheless, it offers different very classic mods as in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, ect. ect. It also offers different Maps that get Randomly Generated which is really nice, so no Map can be learnt to Glitch around, atleast not as much as in other Games with preset Maps. The 99 Cents i spent on this were very well spent.

I personally don't enjoy FPS games, but this games has a amazing combo of cool mechanics, robots and weapons, that I actually enjoy it. Also the music absolute lit🔥🔥🔥
