Very good for a simple point-and-click platformer, FNAF fan game, or anything "platformy" or "point-and-click". simple interface that you can learn very quickly. I highly recommend it for seasoned developers or people just getting into game development.

This software is overpriced but it goes on sale for 20 dollars very frequently. It's more worth it if you wait for it to go on sale than buying it full price at 80 dollars This software is very beginner friendly and there are a lot of good tutorials found on YouTube. You can make actual good games if you learn the software well. There are addons for this software but they are overpriced too. I would stick with the normal edition if you are trying to make small games as a hobby. The normal edition is 2D but there is an addon to make 3D games but its one of the overpriced addons. Recommended for beginner game developers.

Thanks to Clickteam Fusion I no longer enjoy playing video games but rather creating them myself. Its a really addictive hobby when the software itself is easy to use and it only takes a few days to create a game that's better than many modern games that are currently being released these days. Thank you to everyone involved in creating this masterpiece. I haven't found a single game creation software that's even comparable.

Very good game engine, it has great features and can create really cool games with 0 code required. Instead it uses events which are super easy to learn and use. Not only that but it has great premade player controls such as platformer, top down, and mouse control, but you can also create your own with the event editor. It has a large amount of objects you can add and tweak, such physics engine, active (custom stuff like players, enemies, coins, etc), strings, score, and so much more. Its a very powerful engine for both beginners, and experts, I highly recommend this game engine for anyone looking to either get into game development, or switch engines. Clickteam Fusion 2.5 is a 10/10 engine.

I got this software as a Christmas present after 2 years of using the free edition. I got it 50% off. And can say that you should spend the money. It's a huge improvement over the free edition. AND it's just a really good engine. If you are somewhat interested maybe cause you had the games factory or klik n play (The 2 oldest versions of this) or it just interests you cause it seems cool you should pick it up cause it's a really nice engine and simple 2 use. I have a lot of code experience so it was a little easier to get started but the visual scripting in clickteam and the user interface makes it perfect for beginners. Also, it has a dark theme now which was added recently so your eyes won't hurt anymore. I often see people with hundreds of hours complaining about better engines and stuff. I have used a lot of engines, this is one of the best. Engines like Game Maker are made MOSTLY for professionals, this one is kinda the same BUT is a lot better for beginners. btw this has relatively cheap 3d plugins which game maker does not have, but this engine is optimized for 2d game development. Please give it a try before putting your money else where.
