I liked this game for it's simple play mechanics, whatever goal there are are not some complicated mess to figure out, this is the kind of relaxed game someone who just wants to klick things and you get more resources. No fighting to be done, no pay to win stuff, I managed to finish this game in ten hours without stressing myself for no point. If you want simple, if you just want to plug along without a clock to rush you, I suggest this game

Amazing, simple and relaxing game! If you like simple games that unwraps itself over time then this game is definitely for you! You can feel that it was made with love and this, unfortunately, is little appreciated nowadays, but I hope it does not go unnoticed by those who value the art of simplicity.

It's okay, for a zen like experience. I clearly didn't hate it, because I finished it. But know what you're getting before you buy: It's NOT a Forager-like game, or an incremental, or a factory game. It's a fidget spinner, a chore simulator. All the mechanics are revealed in the first five minutes. There is no automation, and you aren't going to unlock anything more than the next task. If you're in the mood to simply veg out and click buttons for a while, it's excellent. It's pretty well balanced overall- it's a grind (and the point of the game IS to grind) but it's short, and doesn't QUITE wear out its welcome. It felt good to be done with. Because of the lack of automation, you'll figure out pretty quick that there's basically no downtime in this game- there's ALWAYS something you should be clicking next, and the milestones/upgrades are always within reach. But there is NO depth to this one- not mechanical, strategic, or story. You just do your chores for 4 or 5 hours. If you're looking for more, look elsewhere.

Review of Click Mage Gameplay Overview Click Mage is a minimalistic resource management game that invites players into a colorful world (map) where they take on the role of a Wizard striving to return home. The gameplay revolves around collecting and refining resources, building structures, and unlocking upgrades (Merchant blueprints) for the player and craft/refining stations. The gameplay is very charming and engaging, it's hard to put the game down. Pros The game offers a laid back atmosphere and is visually appealing, sound effects of the gathered materials has great detail. Getting through the game will take around 4 to 6 hours. + The auto-click (getting resources) (wood , stone, ore, water) + Price point of $4.99 (as of this moment of writing) + Upgrades for player and Stations + Music OST + sound effects are very relaxing and soothing + Developer support on issues from community (storage chests, balancing issues) Developer is very involved Cons However, one significant drawback is the lack of automation in resource management. Players may find themselves frustrated with the constant need to move resources manually. Players end up with massive pools of raw materials, a storage for raw materials would be a nice addition here. Patch 1.20 added storage Chests of 100 raw materials capacity per chest so this issue is solved. - No automatation - Game is short (dlc?) Conclusion Overall, Click Mage has its charm and can be enjoyable for short sessions. It’s perfect for those who appreciate simple mechanics and a cozy aesthetic but may not satisfy players seeking deeper gameplay or automation features. If you enjoy casual resource management games Click Mage could be very worth your time. Recommended 8/10. Thank you for reading.
