Cleo is an absolutely delightful point-and-click game. It is filled with whimsical characters, great art, and wonderful voice acting. I really didn't expect a small adventure game by a solo creator to be fully voice acted all the way through. It's a fun, stress-free adventure with compelling characters that is respectful of your time. I highly recommend it!

This game is a little gem, and the fact that it was developed in every aspect by a single person makes it even more valuable. I’ve been a long-time fan of point-and-click adventures, and here I found solid writing and the humor of classic titles from the past, including some funny references. The difficulty is well balanced: it lets you progress without too much effort or having to rack your brain, and the puzzles almost always have a convincing logic. The ending is also touching...what more could you ask for? Also, as a musician, I can’t help but appreciate the presence and quality of the final song. Perhaps the game is just a bit shorter than the more famous adventures it draws inspiration from (which is understandable). The only flaw I found was in a couple of situations where I lost track of the system’s affordances and couldn’t figure out how to proceed. But it’s really a minor issue. This is an adventure that every point-and-click fan should play!

This is, in its compact, modest way, a complete success. There are so many products that sell themselves as "tributes to the adventure games of yore" or something similar. This one does this. Most of them suck. People don't know how to tell stories. develop characters, or balance out point-and-click scenarios. Some still make you spin pipe sections around for no real reason. This one does not suck. It doesn't aim too high, and it hits the mark it set for itself: small, sweet, and entertaining. Puzzles are fun, none too hard, and integrated into the plot. Nostalgic pixel graphics are spot-on and voices are good, too. It's kind of tiny, but if on sale, worth it.

Fun story. The only negative thing I have to say is that the control options on laptop/mouse are not intuitive. I kept wanting to hit enter instead of right clicking.

As someone who's favorite genre of games is "Point and Click," i was extremely excited to try this game out. Playing the Demo, I absolutely fell in love with the humor, Cleo and all the little easter eggs for those of us who have played older Point and Clicks like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle. I immediately bought the full game and played it fully through in one night. Here are my thoughts; the puzzles are on the easy side, but I don't really think that's a bad thing. I enjoy tougher puzzles, but I also like games with simpler ones for days I'm feeling more chill and don't want to think too much. I thought the story and the lesson were really good and Cleo is super lovable. The punny names on some of the characters as well as the artwork were just icing on the cake here. The art is lovely and its easy to see everything. I would highly recommend this game for both Point and Click newbies and Pros, but if you prefer puzzles that really make you think, this might be one to skip as they are definitely simpler.
