This game is like a pixel version of Diablo. Lots of fun.

38 hours in, starting the endgame grind for legendary's runes and working towards getting the DLC quest reached. Still have some more grinding to do, and runes to get to put my build together. This game is a hidden gem and just found out about it like 4 days ago and I'm totally hooked. Already this game within 38 hours of playing has been worth the money for the base game and DLC's IMO. I 100% recommend the game.

Amazing little game, the interface is a little clunky and it is quite grindy when you hit lategame (which is not necessarily a bad thing), but there is no doubt in my mind that this game is worth the price!

Loot is plentiful and varied. Maybe too plentiful. It doesn't affect the look of your character but can greatly change the way you play your character. The approach to it is interesting, most items can drop from lvl 1 and scale to higher levels and items dropped will be around your level. Power is basically your gear and how well your skills work together as enemies (and drops) are levelled relative to your level. You can upgrade your gear level, though I think that might actually take away from the game instead of improve it because it made it harder to find replacement gear once you had pretty good pieces. Before the upgrade was unlocked, I liked having to choose between my ageing well-suited gear vs higher level but less attuned to my spec gear. But then again, it's also nice feeling safe to assume that nothing I picked up is better than what I've got because it cuts down on how long town trips can be. In 30 hours, I've beaten the campaign with one character that hit lvl 100 around the end of act 3/5. My character got too powerful, I was feeling a bit like One Punch Man searching for a challenge but kinda disappointed. I didn't realize the final boss was supposed to be a big deal until the "you finished the act" portal appeared when I beat it. I'm undecided about whether to try another character at this point. I'm not sure how much of a fluke it was to find the gear that broke the game for my first character. The journey to overpoweredness was fun on the way, though, so I recommend this game.

Only issue is that inventory button doesn't work out of the box on steam deck, I had to switch to Proton GE and after that, I just can't stop playing it.
