I'd give this a 6/10. Whilst obviously Portal-inspired, it doesn't really hold up in comparison. It's relatively short for this style of game, There was an attempt at humour with the voice-over, but I think more could have been made of that. One frustration with the game mechanic is that you easily and often get yourself into an unrecoverable situation and need to restart the test chambers - especially as it isn't always obvious what order you need to do things. That said, it was a fun game and recommended if you can get it on a good discount.

this game is fun, challenging, and most of all, colourful. i had an absolute blast solving the puzzles, but i must admit a majority of my time in this game was spent painting every wall possible. don't go into it expecting portal, you will be disappointed. but if you're just looking for a unique style of puzzle solving, pleeeaase give this game a go!! this is NOT a story game. this is a puzzle game. you will enjoy it a lot more if you get the preconception of it being similar to portal out of your head. i promise. looking forward to playing the sequel, as i believe many of the issues people seem to have with this game will be greatly improved in chromagun 2!

Simple concept with challenging puzzles and a Portal-esque art style. Only complaint I really have is the fact many of the levels require perfect execution that can easily land you a softlock if you fuck up. Aside from that, it's a pretty good game.

You can think that it`s Portal. But you will be wrong. Short and fun puzzle game. Looking forward for Part 2. Recommended for all puzzle games fans. And yes, they have a cake for you :)

Fairly easy puzzles. Very definitely inspired by portal's aesthetic. Great potential for excellent community maps. Overall 7/10, would play through again. If you enjoyed this game you might also enjoy the following (in no particular order): 1. Portal series (obviously) 2. Talos Principle 1 & 2 (absolutely God tier) 3. Antichamber 4. Manifold Garden 5. Superliminal 6. Sensorium (short, but clever) 7. Qube 1 & 2 8. The Turing Test 9. Path to Thalamus (probably a 5/10 game) 10. Lingo (word bases puzzles, love this game) 11. The witness 12. The looker ( :^} ) 13. Viewfinder 14. The swapper (not first person perspective) 15. Baba is You (not first person perspective) 16. Understand (not first person perspective) 17. Yugo Puzzle (not first person perspective)
