This game is just as enjoyable now as when I first played it on the Xbox 360. It has great replay ability and is genuinely a great side-scrolling beat 'em up. I highly recommend it!

finally getting around to playing this again has been a dream for me. this game was my childhood when i discovered it on the xbox arcade back in the day, and i would spend hours going through whole campaign runs with my friends. picking this back up and plugging the controller in after 11 years, it was like nothing had changed and i was an innocent, fun loving kid again. everything james and ska studios puts out is amazing, but charlie murder will always hold a special place in my heart as the best side scrolling beat-em-up out there. <3

I have been playing this game since it first released on the xbox 360 and got it for free on a free games for gold day. This is one of the games that has stuck with me the rest of my life and will forever be, hands down and by a long shot, T H E best indie game I have ever played. Everyone always talks about a second game but honestly even just a rerelease of some kind for the Xbox X would be in itself a gift sent from the devs.

my dad had this game on the 360, had to be when we first got it, i think i was around 6 or 7. we had the 360 in the living room and i was horrified of blood and gore as a kid, so i wouldnt come out of my room until he was done. im about to turn 18 in a few days now, and ive done a 180. my dads favorite games were always shooters, i was horrified of them. theyre my favorite type of game now (though i prefer older ones) and i can appreciate a good bit of blood and viscera! that being said, yeah, game is awesome. i dont know what my dad saw in it, since its totally not his style, artistically and gameplay wise. its totally mine on the other hand, ill play any game i can get my hands on, i love punk music and fashion, and artstyles like the one in this game. its so raw and, like, kind of ugly? i love those types of art styles. its a game that reeks of 2000s, style, brutality, and you can absolutely tell it had its home on the xbox arcade at some point. really fun and solid experience, definitely recommend whether you have nostalgia for it or not.

I remember playing this game with people on Xbox 360, whose profiles have now said “offline” for 8 years. In limbo, with their avatars permanently sleeping
