i dont get how there are so many people who say the game is hard to play on modern pcs it plays reallly well on mine (even tho i dont have that good of a pc)

The lo-fi engine and screaming sounds just never get old. Bizarre gameplay, bizarre car design, pure fun. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2856237838 A truly unique game series. There are no clones of it.

Masterpiece, I'd trade this for any modern racing game. Cars handling doesn't hold your hand, wrecking enemies gives you satisfaction and so do the occasional car unlocks, which are always exciting. They just don't make games like this anymore, like it wouldn't even pass the rating system most likely, in our current snowflake woke age. Played this back in like 1999, came back just recently and had a blast. As for this particular Steam release, it's fantastic, you can adjust resolution and keybinds, through just a couple of small tweaks. I had no crashes or anything, apart from occasional audio cut offs. Played on Windows 11. P.S. You know the game is sick when it has Fear Factory as part of the soundtrack.

Absolute classic game. Back in my day, vidyagames like these got banned in certain countries. Carmageddon, Postal, etc etc. This is just fun racing with a little extra behind the hood, so to speak. You can win by completing all of the laps (psshaw), killing all of your opponents (there aren't exactly weapons, but powerups), or running over all of the pedestrians. Low poly gore FTW. Keep in mind that Stainless Games went bankrupt and shuttered their doors, unfortunately. There is a port of this on Android that I was lucky enough to happen across an APK of. Uh, what I mean to say is that there won't be any support for this game unless THQ decides to go hands on with it. They bought a bunch of IPs a few years ago.
