I bought for Darkstalkers, Absolute a old Gem that need a remaster. Vampire Savior 2 : Lord of Vampires is the best version of it, but i wish that capcom include Darkstalker Chonicles in another collection bcz have better filters

10/10 Wonderful collection! First of all, I am aware that there is Capcom Arcade Stadium 1+2, which has almost all of the games in the Capcom Fighting Collection (with the exception of Red Earth). There are two reasons why I bought this game, even though I bought all the games in Capcom Arcade Stadium 1 and 2: the online mode for ALL games and the support for the developers. The second reason is my main reason. I'm thankful that Capcom will be releasing MARVEL vs CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics in a few days (I've already pre-ordered the game and am looking forward to playing it). They are also planning a second Fighting Collection with Capcom VS SNK Millenium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom VS SNK 2, Power Stone 1+2, Project Justice and other Capcom games. Now, let's talk about this collection: it's great, the gameplay for all games are smooth and fun. Definitely recommend it if you want to play these games online. Capcom Arcade Stadium 1+2 only supports single player and has no online modes. All in all, and a message to Capcom: In general, I'd like to thank Capcom for releasing this collection (and more collections in the future) on Steam. My wishlist for games that should come to PC is now almost complete. However, there are three games that I really want to see on PC. Whether it's a port or a remake, I'll leave it up to you, Capcom. These games that have come to mind are Okamiden, Viewtiful Joe and Asura's Wrath. I'll be looking forward to playing more of your older games. And thanks for bringing Marvel VS Capcom and Capcom VS SNK back to life! <3

If this was JUST a compilation of Darkstalkers, Darkstalkers' Revenge, and Vampire Savior, this would still be worth it, but it also includes the weird Japan-exclusive Darkstalkers revisions, a slew of more obscure Capcom fighters that would otherwise have no chance at being re-released, Puzzle Fighter for some reason, and one of the most robust versions of old reliable Street Fighter II. This is easily one of the best fighting game collections currently on the market, and the only thing I could potentially see dethroning it any time soon is the upcoming Marvel Vs. Capcom collection.

EDIT: Denuvo is no longer a backend to this game, so the Denuvo explaination segment is removed. Fighting collection? What's the big deal? Where's my Streets??? Street Fighter has already had a collection rerelease called Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. This includes every mainline Street Fighter and their iterations before Street Fighter 4. This includes all 5 arcade versions of Street Fighter II (yes there were 5 of them), all Street Fighter Alphas (arcade versions), and the golden gem that is Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. This is currently availible on the Steam store page. The Capcom Fighting Collection includes tons of fighting games that have yet to be rereleased as well as ones in high demand. Darkstalkers is one such game that hasn't seen a rerelase since the PS2. Cyberbots, a fighting game where you play as goddamn mechs, has not seen a US console release at all. Other games include Red Earth, a Japanese-only arcade fighter set in a fantasy world where you fight dinosaurs and wizards and other such warriors. Even Hyper Street Fighter II makes an appearance, a modified console-version of SF2 that includes whatever version of an SFII character you wish to play as. The collection comes with training modes for each game as well as single-button commands (if you wish), savestates/rewind, and tons of behind-the-scenes art. Really cool game if you're a fighting fantatic. Or even need some practice. Ok, so what's the verdict? One of the main negatives is the lack of players in the online mode. However, the online function itself great: you can select however many games you wish to play online, then play in-game (in training mode or arcade) as you wait for an opponent. The game also has rollback netcode, which allows both players smooth and uninterrupted peer-to-peer gameplay. This would all be fantastic, but unfortunately most players will play these games on Fightcade, a free online matchmaking system which allows players tons of options to play tons of fighters. However, a big plus for this game from me is the convenience. No hassle trying to find roms or setup controls, it's all right there ready to go. It's also a very lab-friendly game: while I'm out there playing matches in Fightcade, I'm here in training mode looking at the movelists and hitboxes. Not only that, but it's especially great for local multiplayer. If you have a laptop or Steam Deck, it's especially fun. It doesn't even take much to run, the thing can run on a Chromebook. Just plug in the HDMI cable to your TV, grab some some friends/controllers, and you have yourself a Friday Night Fisticuff. I would not recommend it at it's current price, though. $40 is a bit steep, especially since it's been 2 years and there's very little games on it. Wishlist and wait for a sale. The game has gone as low as $16, which I feel is more than fair. YOU MUST DEFEAT SHENG LONG TO STAND A CHANCE

(I also got this on PS4 first, but because my primary game of play, Cyberbots in Japan, plays in PC, I had to get it here as well, absolutely worth it though) Wow am I impressed, seriously. This is legit making me consider playing the games here exclusively in this collection and drop emulators entirely for them. So, there is a lot of things here, the training mode is amazing, the controller configuration is amazing, the screen emulation and filters are incredible, you can switch between regions of the roms (Japan and America), and they even went a goddamn step further by making "easy commands" for both secret character selection and move-list in general. I bought this primarily for Cyberbots as stated before, but including WarZard (Red Earth) was my second biggest thing to get, of course most of you might consider this for Vampire/Darkstalkers, having Puzzle Fighter was also a nice addition, always a blast to play this with friends. This is the absolute best thing for locals, has profiles for controllers (Option A is for gamepads, Option B is for default arcade sticks, and there are personal profiles, so controller configuration for tournament play hasn't been this damn easy in a long time, just switch profiles!), and for freaks like me with weird arcade sticks, since you can MAP ***EVERY SINGLE DAMN BUTTON TO YOUR LIKES*** and while it might not seem like much for most of you coming from Fightcade, it means A LOT, since the one other collection you might get with this (Street Fighter 30th) DOESN'T ALLOW THIS. Want L3 to be your Start button, and X Button to be the in-emulator button? Go ahead THERE ARE SO MANY "experts" ON COMPILATIONS AND RETRO PORTING THAT DOESN'T ALLOW THIS WHAT THE HELL!? Capcom, please, for the love of god, let this team be the one that makes ports/emulations of your old titles, they know a lot, they sincerely do what should be the absolute damn standard, let them re-create the Street Fighter collection, this is legit an outstanding job, and I'm totally buying their Beat'em Up/Belt collection knowing the quality they provide.
