Underrated and overhated - still able to find multiplayer games due to cross platform multiplayer. Definitely worth it on sale.

I honestly do not understand the hate. To me this game feels somwhat like a Quentin Tarantino movie due to the more over-the-top story telling and somewhat historical inaccuracies to make the whole thing more interesting. So i just ignore all the inaccuracies when i play, and pretend that it is more or less a Inglourious Basterds sequel type of deal. So if you like Quentin Tarantino movies, then i'd recommend Call Of Duty: Vanguard. Even with all the hate i still have alot of fun with the campaign not gonna lie.

Lots of fun solo with great graphics and gun play. But like many COD games they are quite linear between the fighting arenas. But you get a chance to play a lot of characters in a lot of WWII terrains in a complex story line.

I'm gonna be straight up honest and have my own opinions, this game... isn't terrible like people say Overall main game, looks good - nice graphics, good gameplay, most fast-paced call of duty experience and it have some good unique stuff like combat pacing and operators levels - Campaign isn't terrible, storytelling just doesn't feel good and voicelines can be cringe but some missions are beyond outstanding when it comes to map design, atmosphere and actions. I also really like that every character have it's own special thing like Polina be able to climb walls or Arthur having every order and signal to make your AI teammates help fast as much they can. Story is just really lacking which is a big downside - Multiplayer is definitely fun but it can be a pain sometimes because this call of duty was definitely not balanced at all, Balancing was never a main priority in COD series but this game probably have the most annoying metas and weirdest builds. Pick-10 Attachments is a thing that some people love or hate, it's probably the most controversial thing in multiplayer. Maps with Combat Pacing are really great tho - Maps are really good and Combat Pacing might be the best new thing ever that was added to COD, u can randomly quick play between 6v6 and chaotic bigger playercount matches that can be hella fun - Zombies is.. not great, maps are just reused assets, it's nothing compared to older cod zombies games and launch was so terrible that it didn't even have a lot of stuff that every COD zombies game always had, BUT i do still have fun and there are some things that i really like about it. HOT TAKE: objective based mode isn't bad at all, i feel like it's a good switch up between survival waves and doing objectives. Perk system and covenants are really good, i understand that people like OG perk system better but i didn't mind this change cause it feels like that it's more replayable (upgrading perk tiers and covenant's special abilities feels like rogue-lite style which i like) anyway yea this game is fun but i can understand that a lot of stuff that were made can be controversial
