I honestly do not understand the hate. To me this game feels somwhat like a Quentin Tarantino movie due to the more over-the-top story telling and somewhat historical inaccuracies to make the whole thing more interesting. So i just ignore all the inaccuracies when i play, and pretend that it is more or less a Inglourious Basterds sequel type of deal. So if you like Quentin Tarantino movies, then i'd recommend Call Of Duty: Vanguard. Even with all the hate i still have alot of fun with the campaign not gonna lie.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Campaign - A Mixed Bag Call of Duty: Vanguard aimed to deliver a cinematic World War II experience, and in some respects, it succeeds. The campaign boasts impressive visuals, solid gunplay, and a few standout moments. However, it ultimately falls short of reaching the heights of its predecessors. The Good Visuals and Sound Design : Vanguard is a visual spectacle, with detailed environments and cinematic cutscenes. The sound design is equally impressive, immersing players in the chaos of war. Gunplay : The core gameplay mechanics are solid, with satisfying gunplay and responsive controls. Character Moments : Some individual character arcs and performances are engaging, adding depth to the narrative. The Bad Narrative Coherence : The campaign struggles to maintain a cohesive narrative, jumping between different characters and time periods without a clear overarching story. Mission Design : While there are some exciting moments, the mission design often feels repetitive and lacks innovation. Short Campaign : The campaign is relatively short, leaving players wanting more depth and development. Overall, Call of Duty: Vanguard's campaign is a decent experience but fails to leave a lasting impression. While it offers some enjoyable moments, its shortcomings prevent it from truly standing out in the series. For fans of the franchise, it's worth checking out, but don't expect a groundbreaking campaign.

Lots of fun solo with great graphics and gun play. But like many COD games they are quite linear between the fighting arenas. But you get a chance to play a lot of characters in a lot of WWII terrains in a complex story line.

Mostly purchased it for the campaign, i like a lot ww2 theme games and movies. Ended up playing the mp as well and i had fun. Good optimization/graphics and sound effects. A bit spicy the full price, wait for a sale. Ignore the negative reviews, Vanguard is a good game.
