System requirements

These are the minimum specifications needed to play the game. For the best experience, we recommend that you verify them.

Windows
  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS *: Windows 10 (untested on Windows 7, 8, and 11 but ya know, it probably works)
  • Processor: Intel i5 or Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: GTX 1050 (you probably can't run this on your momma's generic laptop)
  • Storage: 3 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Yeah probably have one of these
  • Additional Notes: Look, I'll level with you, I'm a solo dev with limited experience in optimization using a resource-hungry engine so you're going to need a mid-tier gaming computer if you want to keep up a good fps and visual fidelity.

Bunhouse is a fun game where you plant gardens as a bunny. You can play with your friends and family local if you have controllers. This game works really well on my Fedora Linux system. You can customize your bunny but it doesn't look like you can name them. I think that would be a good addition. You can build and customize your greenhouse which is really nice. I love the quality of life features you can buy after selling enough plants. Npcs or a story would make it more engaging but I understand it was meant to be simple and relaxing. I like that the game doesn't pressure you with goals or time limits. The worst that happens is your plant can wither and you just get an "oh no" message and try again. Really I would say the biggest improvement could just be more content and interaction. The bones of the game are good and I enjoyed it. Great job to the developer I will be buying your Cinnabun game.

Bunhouse is a simple but fun game where all you do is garden as a bunny. The core game loop is surprisingly addicting but does get a bit boring due to lack of content. I feel like this game could be so much better with more features. The basic mechanics are there but quantity comes in the form of plants to grow, not what you can actually do with them. It would have been nice to have NPCs or some kind of storytelling element to make gameplay feel more meaningful and keep it from becoming repetitive. Having special orders to fill where you're tasked with growing certain kinds of plants in time for delivery could have been an interesting challenge for example. The art is unfortunately very inconsistent in style and quality. Some models and textures look OK and others seem like rudimentary attempts that end up bringing down the overall visual quality of the game. It's hard to tell if the varying quality is a reflection of a single artist's developing skills over the course of development or the result of kitbashing random assets but the effect combined with a mish mash of styles can be immersion-breaking and off-putting. Overall, I think it's worth checking out, especially if you manage to buy it at a discount. If you're the type of person that likes cozy crafting sims, this will keep you occupied for a few hours. It doesn't have much replay-ability but the first play through was entertaining enough for me at least.

It is exactly as advertised. You are a bunny who owns a greenhouse. The most challenging thing you will deal with is keeping all of the plants fed and watered. No stakes, no difficult challenges, just hop around planting and being chill.
