Rating: ★★★★★ - Amazing Time Played: 3.1 hours Gameplay: • Unique dual-character control scheme where you use one stick for each brother; challenging at first but feels rewarding as you progress. This design choice helps enhances the immersion and emotion of the story. • Puzzles are intuitive and varied, relying on cooperation between the brothers (and your fingers on each side of the controller) to solve them. • No combat, mostly interaction with the environment which is just as engaging. Story\Dialogue: • A heartfelt and emotional journey centred around family, loss, and resilience. • Story is told entirely without spoken words; characters speak in a fictional language, relying on gestures and tone. • The bond between the brothers feels authentic and grows naturally as the game progresses. Graphics\Music: • Gorgeous, fairy-tale-like art direction with diverse and detailed environments that hold up despite an older engine. • Each area has a distinct atmosphere, from tranquil villages to Icey battle worn mountains to harrowing, dark 'monster' dens. • The soundtrack complements the emotional beats perfectly. Before you Play: • While I never played the remake, I can confirm that the original is still perfectly playable in the modern day. • Play with a controller is mandatory; essential for the dual-stick controls. • Keep your older brother Naia on the left of the screen and younger brother Naiee on the right when navigating to help walking without bumping into walls. • Perfect to play in one sitting but be prepared for an emotional ending; tissues and a hug required. • No replayability, but it’s a one-and-done experience worth taking your time and savouring.

Great game! I've played this a couple times now and just came back to it recently to get some achievements. The story and cinematics are super worth it. The entire game has a sad theme to it and does a great job in its story telling. This might be an old game but it's worth a playthrough. The puzzles aren't difficult at all and fairly straightforward. It's mainly about the journey, story, and cinematic. I definitely recommend playing this or the remake.

I love this game. The graphics feel like I'm in the 2010s. The gameplay is great, but it gets annoying sometimes when I play with one controller with the two characters at the same time. Some of these games have graphic content, just a bit of detail. The graphics were amazing. I love the story and some of this story is sad. I highly recommend playing with your controller. If you don't have it. Just play with your keyboard. Some achievements in this game are pretty easy. I really do this original style than the remake. The Original graphics is making me feels nostalgic. The Brothers remake was little bit laggy sometimes. I did set low graphics setting, and the game is still laggy and slow. Sorry guys, the original is better

A fun experience if you have someone to play with. I would recommend buying this version on a sale compared to the newer 'remastered' version since it's filled with performance issues.

gosh, it sure would be a shame if sometime in the future some game exec decided to take this lovely, painterly game and "remake" it so that the exquisitely stylized art design was replaced with creepy, dead-eyed "Polar Express" "pHoToReALiSm" or whatever
