Such a beautiful game with a FANTASTIC soundtrack. I only wish it was longer. I beat it in about 4 and a half hours, but that also included me dying a lot in very silly ways, lmao. Learning about different nordic fables was so fascinating! Some parts were hard to watch(sui**dal themes and hurting children, which it warns of before playing). Very immersive and emotional. A masterpiece of a game and a great thing to play in October!

Beautiful, disgusting, horrifying, intriguing A very polished folklore nightmare walking sim that isn't derivative of Limbo/Inside/LittleNightmares. [*]Quite masterful at playing with perspective, it's 'Hunny I Shrunk The Kids' and your the kid and everything around you is gargantuan and foreboding. [*] Equal parts cute and unnerving [*] Some scenes are genuinely quite scary [*] Fantastically designed characters, especially the freaky pied piper dude and the mountain king. [*] Get it hooked up to a big OLED screen and enjoy the explicitly gory and mortifying scenes. [*]I would like to stress that this is primarily a walking sim . Bar a couple scenes, don't go into this expecting anything different.
