Game was shorter than I thought it would be. I played about 14 hours before reaching the credits. There's no post credit content other than finishing up steam achievements. Overall good game, definitely worth the $10 I spent on it. Its more like a dating sim that requires you to go in the dungeon to progress the story. If you prefer dating sims and the dungeon crawler aspect of the game isn't to your taste, I recommend to still give this game a try because the dungeon isn't very skill dependent. As you level up, button mashing will get you through almost all of the levels. If you are a hardcore dungeon crawler fan, this game may not be for you.

The over-the-top, insane, steamy, sensational fantasy of this game is not romancing the hot vampire sword guy or the uber famous k-pop idol, it's living in a sane world where people are generally nice and treat each other with basic kindness and respect regardless of your sexuality or gender. Combine that with having a mother that loves you unconditionally and an entire village that cares about your emotional well-being and I was hooked. Partially kidding, but I truly did not want the game to end and was kind of sad to wave goodbye to Verona Beach. Even if the romances aren't that deep and the tropes were... well tropes... the game made me feel "normal" and happy in a world that always wants me to feel lesser for being my authentic self. This game is so committed to this that you can even change your pronoun selection during your playthrough without it being a world ending event. I started the game with one set of pronouns and ended with another and the game never comments on it being a big deal, everyone immediately understands and no questions are asked and it doesn't limit your dating pool. There's even two non-binary romance options with Sawyer and Rowan. Sure some of the enby stereotypes are a bit over the top and dated but I think it fits with the universe and overall vibe the game was going for. Outside of dating and romance, the game itself is actually surprisingly fun. It manages to find that "just right" Goldilocks spot of not too challenging but not so easy that it's a total cake walk. There can be a grind to it if you want that and that's how I played because I wanted to 100% it, but you don't have to do it that way if you don't want to. Overall a super fun, cute, lighthearted experience that lightly touches on some important themes like fears of intimacy and change.

6/10 Overall a very enjoyable and sweet game, I definitely recommend it. Highlights first: - This game is inclusive as heII - The sprite artwork is gorgeous and the simplified character style in the dungeons and on the map is adorable - The music fits well and I liked the score a ton - The game makes you aware of its trigger warnings and overall makes you feel very safe - Every romance option has its own appeal, I didn't feel like any character had less depth than the other, they feel about equally as developed Some things that contributed to the low score to be aware of when picking up this game: - The voice acting isn't perfect: It doesn't align with the text boxes at certain points and characters are not fully voiced(which isn't an issue, but worth noting). There are scenes where one character has full voice acting, while others don't, which feels dissonant. - The game sets up themes and doesn't quite deliver on them (To remain spoiler free, I won't elaborate, but I'd have liked my choices to be viable and have actual impact on the story a bit more, especially during the finale.) - Although all characters are developed equally, they don't have many layers, which isn't bad, but in general leaves me lukewarm about them. In spite of all this, I had a very fluffy time with this game, 10ish hours of gameplay well spent. I don't regret picking this one up.

Very fun dungeon crawler & simple but cute dating sim. Storylines are decent, but some routes triggered my abandonment wounds :( Dungeon crawling aspect is action packed and the attacks look cool. My brain loves the colours and dopamine hits

easy dungeons to roll past in my quest to seduce every weapon brave enough to come into my grabby little hands, i love Boyfriend Dungeon with all my heart. combat could have been better but i can't complain because i'm too distracted by Issac's edge
