save your money. get the free version which comes with dark mode. lol this is a great software. super light and works as intended. my only complaint is that dark mode is locked behind a paywall, which, why would you do that? Borderless Gaming is FREE outside of Steam. i already went out of my way to support it. why would you make me pay extra for dark mode (also available for free for non-steam users)?. seriously?! 💀💀

Makes old games run in borderless mode like current day games. sometimes you'll need to apply workarounds like having an old game to run on windowed mode in order to effectively run in borderless mode to avoid problems like not being able to click around in the game that is running in borderless mode incorrectly. It's a great program that does it's job well, even with workarounds.

Works as advertised, helped me out of a pinch in Dark Souls 3. Can finally alt-tab and talk to friends without having to wait 10 seconds both in and out. You can get the "paywalled" features for free by going to the github. Want to support the dev? Get them here.

Is the tool good? Yes, does exactly what it says on the tin. Has the dev lost his mind in the process? Yes, 100%. Abandoned the open source nature of his code and only updates this version. Hopefully after the oh so promised UI rewrite he will maybe UPDATE THE SOURCE CODE? This was supposed to be a donation, not the only intended way of aquiring the software. So fucking sad to see open source devs become like this becuase of criticism ffs. I hate the steam community. BTW REGARDING HIS NEW "AI COMPRESSION" SOFTWARE, WINDOWS ALREADY HAS SOMETHING SIMILAR! IT'S CALLED TRANSPARENT COMPRESSION, GOOGLE IT. Right Click Folder > Properties > General > Under Attributes: Advanced > "Compress contents to save disk space". This will save you tons of space!
