I enjoy its storyline, reminding me of the TV series called Strange Things. I like its artistic style. The strategic battling style is acceptable, not boring. It leads me to think about how to deal more damage. I searched online about how to subdue / capture demons and how to improve stats. A lot of elements in this game is worth my time to dig deeper. I'm not a native English speaker. Please forgive me if I wrote something above that you cannot comprehend.

I absolutely love this game so far, I think the art is really beautiful and the story has kept me hooked. First time playing turn based combat and I’m excited to try other games like this. I don’t much enjoy the map, though, it’s not very intuitive. This is my first review i’ve ever left because I had to say something.. My only real annoyance in this game is the fact that they keep bringing up Natives in a sort of cringe way. As an Indigenous person, honestly, it’s something we have to see and deal with day to day but i love that my games provide me an escape from that, usually. The comment about disease was completely unnecessary. There are ways to include Indigenous peoples in video games that aren’t cringe or possibly annoying/harmful to Native youth who may be playing. Over all, I love everything about this game besides that one small aspect.

Did I enjoy this game? Yes. But let's hop to nuances that require attention: -some food says it recovers HP, but it recovers SP actually -map of suburbs area shows 3 houses where Ramona lives, but it's actually 4 there -movement is a bit too slow -fact that crops die is kinda too much, I understand not grow, but die. -fishing mechanics are unclear. why I fail the moment after I throw bait -some locations irritate me with deadends. please cut more way through in locations. it's dull to return a long way -some quests don't have enough instructions. I took them early and completely forgot where I need to go. -please make it possible to sell several objects at time (at least objects of one type) -gardening is sooo slow. I wish it was more like in Stardew Valley I'll keep updating this feedback

Overall, would recommend the game. It is inexpensive and fun. WARNING: IF YOU PLAY THE DEMO YOUR SAVE DATA DOES NOT TRANSFER TO THE MAIN GAME Exploration: Enjoyable if somewhat simple. For myself so far I haven't really run into anything I hard a super hard time finding. One negative review mentioned that sometimes a big circle with question marks will appear of the map pointing an unknown quest objective and that is a bit annoying but easily worked through in my opinion. Multiple activities to do like reading to up your stats, movie theater, jobs, random NPC encounters, etc. Story (so far): While probably not the most original piece of story telling the characters are pretty likable and its interesting enough to keep you engaged. The NPCs in the world can sometimes feel stand offish and sometimes endearing. Combat: Its a little rough until you get a handle on it. Many of the negative reviews say that the combat is the biggest glaring issue of the game, I honestly don't really agree. While it is a bit bland at first with its mechanic of positioning forcing you to attack the same enemy until its dead, this becomes less of an issue pretty quickly once you unlock more options. If anything, it actually lends itself some extra strategy with this. I've done many battles where I focused on the healer in the back using my other options besides melee as to not deal with constant healing of the front enemies. This is only moreso fixed when you start capturing other demons to use and aquire more spells. That said, combat is honestly not that difficult even in hard mode. I've only gotten a game over one time and realistically that was because I was ill prepared and missing two party members. Notable mentions: UI is a bit messy, could be better but overall still not a deal breaker. It feels like the devs value the players time, all dialogue and repetitive animations (such as crafting animation) can be sped up at any time with no negatives. Fast travel can be used extremely liberally and does not penalize your in game time.

this game is the closest thing to Gleaner Heights, since Gleaner Heights! if u loved GH then this should be a must experience for you. be warned tho (b/Gloomtown) is a bit darker at times and has very adult themed issues. ie. mental illness, alcoholism, suicide, abduction, abuse. and yes there is no manual save, but u can easily force a save at any time using the fast travel system (just fast travel to the same location) if ur in the underworld, just go thru a door to trigger the save. if ur mid-fight, the save triggers right b4.
