Full of early 2000's edginess and cheese, Bloodrayne is a pretty fun action game with fairly simplistic game play and story. There is nothing particularly special about this game, but its fun to go back to sometimes. Solid, if not a little dated exploration and combat makes this a decent time, and the "Terminal Cut" Update makes it a more accessible and better looking experience. Grabbing this on sale, even if you have no nostalgia for it, like I do, you probably wont regret it. Even though the sequel is a little better and the appeal of this game is more the titular character than anything else, I do recommend it for a decent time and a look at a certain time in gaming.

Gothic redheaded vampire girl in latex killing nazis? - what a great idea for a game! Rayne is one of the greatest female video game characters and it's sad that this franchise has such a bad fate.... This game has not aged well. It needs a remake, not a cheap remaster... but looks like Ziggurat doesn't have the money. Buy only if you can stand the old game design or want to explore this old game as an old game artefact. Maybe one day she will return and gently hug us from behind, but not today. It was a nice trip back in time and after all this years I still want her to step on me with her pointy heels.

My childhood Waifu... Typical old game, with funny moments and boring. Short, which is good - (7-9 hours). 8/10.

It was my first time ever playing this so there is no "nostalgia" factor. Had no problem playing with keyboard and mouse even if I was skeptical about combat but in the end it's not that bad, The Story is neither the worst or the best, it's ok. I like Rayne's design and the game it's pretty replayable.

Decent enough classic, the remaster works like a charm. It's a simple and fun action romp that doesn't take itself too seriously. Fun all the way through except for the final boss, that part is a jankfest.
