Block’hood is a neighborhood-building simulator that celebrates the diversity and experimentation of cities and the unique ecosystems within them. I like the game, i just didn't like the greenwashing plot but otherwise it's okay 6/10 game.

A really well put together simcity-like ecologically focused strategy game of resource balancing. Has a nice but short narrative in story mode. My only quibble is that the interface is clunky, they didn't really solve selecting block locations in 3D

Just got done with the Story mode. Was a very dark but true reality. Was an overall great game. Easy to pick up, but only thing i didn't care for was the single placement. You can only put one item block at a time, no duplicating or drag to put for things like pathways (corridors) and plants. Camera takes a bit getting use to but it the same WASD to move and QE to rotate. Would recommend this game for those that like simple building and management. Can easily track your resources, their fluctuations and the items needed to generate/use those resources. Like the sandbox mode that allows you to build just one Hood or a world. The world is great to explore different layouts and biomes. Its fun to see the animals and humans interact in the world and to see how many you can generate in one Hood. The world is a better option for those that don't know how to world build (like me) as it gives you wild items and you can build/change as you will. Better then starting from scratch if you're like me. I will definitely be playing more of the sandbox mode after i get through the scenarios.
