This game is ridiculous pirate fun, so long as you have 2-3 friends to play with because the randos are real toxic and the matchmaking is not so great. But if you've got a crew to pirate with, it's hilarious.

Its fun, however as someone who plays sea of thieves this game can be really confusing because a lot of the features and controls are the same but a lot of mechanics behave differently. Like repairing the ship still requires wood but it uses more than just one plank like in sea of thieves, or how cannons still fire like sea of thieves but the cannon ball shots don't arc they just go straight. So if you play sea of thieves like me its an adjustment to be sure. The game is still fun and has some good chaos to it so definitely a fun PVP Pirate Battle Royal.
