The most popular confusing mind cluster anime fighter on the market. If you want me to explain the story, we will be here all day . So if your a fan of visual novels than you will have lots of fun time reading through or listen to the hours and hours of lore. There is a main story that you can play through. Also 12 playable characters which you can play through arcade mode or each ones individual story. Each branching arch has different path that can turn to gag reels or just interesting side story that add to the characters. Some paths you have to lose fights if you want 100% in the story . Blaze blue is the only fighting game I know that does this tedious structure to milk out it’s story. Now the actually combat holds up pretty well, but the graphics did not age very well with it. It’s fun to see where the series came from and that the people who make Guilty Gear can make another banger fighting game. I just find it obsolete compared to its newer games. Good for a history lesson or if you really want to know the story. If you want to get confused in a fighting game than I recommend the sequel continuum shift. It pretty much covers everything in this game with more characters. Until than have fun getting lost with Ragna in the void. 6.5/10

Recommended. 8/10* Great fighting game, the graphics looks good, like hi-res pixel art, the backgrounds are low-mid poly 3D environments, the character designs are good, all the game got that anime-kinda style, the music is good, the animations are good, it has arcade mode, story mode, and also versus mode, the controls are not like street fighter, neither king of fighters, here are more like guilty gear were you have light, medium, high and also special attack, this can be some times punch, some times kick and some times weapon, depends on the character, but no separate punches and kicks like SF or KOF. it doesn't have achievements but still is a good fighting game.

Very fun fighting game with a small, but memorable roster. The maps look nice and there is plenty of story and world building. Characters have a lot of moves and each one is fun to learn. One downside is there is a semi-frequent glitch that slows the frames down to an unplayable rate. Only fix (I know of) is to restart your PC. Can be quite annoying. Also, this is a single player game. If you want to play against friends sit this one out.
