Literally one of the best games in it's glory days. Wish there was more fps games like this that are truly just a joy to play No seriousness, No elitism, No try harding. Everyone just has fun. Just a shame it no longer has much of a player base.

Even though the community is now very small and the game died for a while i can still say that there is a loyal group of us that still play. i dropped the game going into adulthood but ive played it since way back in beta when there were no skin textures and we only had small ships haha. a decade later i jumped back on to see its still kicking. its damn good gameplay if not a little janky, but given that the devs are pretty much gone its to be expected. the miami server is where its at so always join that as theres a few of us still going at it. lots of people from the uk, russia, germany, japan and many more so very international. and if youre a dev and reading this thanks for the game, but maybe add a hipfire reticle as weapons are a nightmare to aim lol love this game and still hop on very regularly so if you see me say hi and lets grapple and board the enemy. 10/10 would reccomend the antics are worth

Good game but poor optimization and a lot of cheaters.

Current state of the game going into 2025: I recently checked the steamcharts, saw the population was small but steady, and peaked enough to fill a few servers. So I decided to reinstall it. It's not active like it was at its height, but there is still a small community kicking around. From what I can tell, there are a lot of European players keeping it afloat. This puts the peak hours around midday in North and South America. So I think a lot of people calling it "dead" are checking in the evenings in the US. Point is, if you miss this game like I did, check the servers around midday, if you're in North or South America. You'll find people. If we get enough people in our timezones playing, we can start filling our NA servers during our prime gaming time. And for anyone who hasn't tried it, it's fun. It's wacky and chaotic. The videos on the store page do a good job of conveying the gameplay. It's most fun when lots of people on your ship have a mic. For better or worse. There's a mutiny mechanic, so annoying captains don't get to keep the helm. Most fun with friends. But also an easy game to make friends in. Plus it's free now. Why not check it out?

This game has a special place in my heart and it's so sad to see it dead and abandoned by the devs the way they did it. It deserves more and I wish it was saved.
