Have you ever played Balatro and thought, "Yeah, this is cool, but I wish I could gamble MORE" ? This is the game for you, my friend. Never before have I so often verbally said out loud, "I LOVE THE SLOTS" before hitting the button that would decide whether or not I win or lose a run. Truly, this is the game for REAL gamblers. Always remember that 90% of gamblers give up right before their big break. Take risks. Always bet on black. make the whole board black. Black out with house edge. I'd spend time making sure this review is funny but I hear Bingle Bingle calling my name. It's time to rise and grind.

NOTE: If the problems I see here are fixed in the future (Out of early access), I'd happily change my review. The game would rather obviously be compared to the game "Balatro", unfortunately for what is a similar genre, Bingle Bingle doesn't take heed of what makes Balatro so good. For starters, a lot of key words are not explained. If you aim to make a game, take the time to explain what each term means. A separate optional tutorial to explain these terms and mechanics would be ideal, or even better, having the ability to hover hover these words for an explanation on the spot. On the note of descriptions, you really don't make them good; on top of terms and mechanics being thrown in with little knowledge of what these mean, what explanations there ARE, are not very good. The key to conveying information is it being short and simple to understand- two things that this game does not do. Another thing is that gameplay is very convoluted: for comparison, Balatro's upgrades and cards all make sense: upgrade card number, duplicate card, add badge to card. Whereas here you have to worry about what each ball's upgrade is, what the ball's bet is in the completely odd reason you DON'T play the ball, along side upgrading THOSE upgrades. There should be more chances to add more balls outside of dupes and the rare chance you just get to add one in. This is a roguelike game, so the idea is to hone in and min max the build you're going for: this game does not. There should be upgrades that earn more points for landing on specific columns. Adding bets in say, a red number is fine enough: it's just why isn't there more upgrades to boost all red bonuses if I want to do a red-heavy build. The same would go for higher numbers: there are very few upgrades to boost players who aim for high numbers. Let me ask a question: what is a roguelike if there's no build you're aiming for? The very few upgrades we do get clearly don't work well because: oh look, this boosts my points if I land an even number, but there's one upgrade to change the numbers and it's so bad you might as well work with colours. Overall: is it worth getting? Yes, I guess so. What it DOES good, it does good, like animations, art and actual game play, it just needs to work on upgrades and aiming to make options to min max builds much easier and make each desc. easier to understand.

It's fun, but incomplete. There need to be more tooltips, and tooltips extending from tooltips as in other games. Sometimes there are terms or items mentioned in a tooltip you aren't familiar with and have no explanation for, and you don't know what decision you're making without that information. Further, some of the explanations need to be reworded; when they're ambiguous to the point you're really unsure how they should be interpreted. With game-changing choices these become integral issues. There are a handful of mistranslations but they are completely inconsequential. It's very easy to make a mistake when changing numbers on the wheel. They're small and if you're mouse slips one millimeter you might turn the wrong number into the wrong number and you cannot undo this. I've done it many times although I do it very slowly at this point. The gameplay is enjoyable. I turned off the music after five minutes; it's appropriate, but annoying after a point. I think it's worth it. I would like more economic choices. Sometimes I have a lot of money and the rerolls just eat it, which is not a problem, but feels needless. It would be fun to invest in something and be able to cash it in later for benefit or more money (deferring money instead of saving it between shops, at a gamble). I donno. I would like more options.
