Very short, the whole game plot is felt like the beginning of something reals... for just getting to sudden end. Game is playable and rather pleasant but don't overpay for it, buy only with a good discount.

A really short, by the numbers point-and-click game with light puzzle elements, obviously inspired by the story of Frankenstein. It's got beautiful graphics, a decent story (which is predictable, but is built and presented quite nicely with the use of notes/journals - I really liked the writing), good voice acting (at least as far as the protagonist is concerned, the umm... other one is rather bland), a fairly spooky atmosphere, and runs smoothly with no glitches or bugs, at least none that appeared during my run. As advertised, it's really short. I took my time, even left it running while doing other things and I barely reached the 2-hour mark while having explored everything that can be explored. It's also very basic, so much so that there aren't even any settings options (beware, the game is LOUD and you will have to decrease the volume on your machine quite a bit). There also isn't a save option, but the game does a good job returning you almost exactly to the point you left things via the autosave feature. Storywise, the ending feels abrupt and lazy. In general, the game could have been much more than it is, a pretty basic, beautiful to look at and listen to, point-and-click game with a passable story. The original asking price of $5 and some change feels a bit much considering the limited content, but the game is often on a huge sale (I got it for less than a dollar), so with that in mind I can easily recommend it for 1-2 hours of point-and-clicky gothic adventuring. PS: I really don't get people downvoting this because of the "lack of puzzles". The game does NOT advertise itself as a puzzler, so I don't know why people go into it expecting puzzles.

Belladonna is a quick point-and-click adventure with a gothic twist. The story intrigues, but the execution feels a bit average. It's a short journey worth a look for genre fans, but don't expect to be blown away. 5/10, a brief but decent experience. Has steam trading cards. Get it on sale.

This is a very short story about a gruesome conflict that could have been easily averted if only participants were willing to talk to each other instead of their own fantasies. As usual in this kind of stories. An anti-pattern of loose letters in an incomprehensive handwriting all over the place, 1-3 letters per scene, the most of the storytelling are given through those. Given the length of a story, I'd say it's average. Maybe an average plus.
