March 2025
There comes a time when a game just pulls you in, out of nowhere and you decide to try it. While this is a short 90 min game, It's the first time in a long time where I genuinely wept and was audible. The entire story is beautifully put together and you really just want to sit there and let the entire scene play out, but once you get half way through the constant twist and turns really hit you and you just keep on crying and crying to the point where you can't even breathe anymore. It's been so long since I felt this way and to say this game made me realise something about myself or my life in an understatement, the only issue I had was the whole "blinking" mechanic wasn't good and I just gave up blinking to progress because I wanted to experience the whole story and I did that after I changed to "click" instead of "blink" Whoever reads this, please buy and play this game, cry and then maybe you might change something about your life for the better, for the devs who made this game, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this, thank you for the masterful writing and making me feel the emotions I havn't felt for a long time playing.

I almost never cry with movies, and very rarely with games or music. I actually have a hard time physically crying in general. This one made me cry. The story is so good. I guess I'll replay it without the blinking feature so I can actually read everything, unfortunately I couldn't keep my eyes open for long enough in some parts haha.

A beautiful and heartbreaking story. I cried so much... it felt so real, so close. The real masterpice during the whole story is the game itself. I wish I could erase my memory to play again for the first time.

I do not normally write game reviews, or take the time too. "Before your eyes", has moved me enough to the point where I feel that i NEED to write a review. We spend so much time worrying about what we will become, instead of actually trying to become what we wish to. This well written story showed everyone who played, that time moves way too fast. Too fast so that when it is our time to leave this Earth, we realize all the things we weren't able to accomplish. Things we wish we could have been. We realize it is too late. We spend time doing things we don't necessarily enjoy, and don't do things we did enjoy. This story honestly connected with me so well. I am leaving for the military after i graduate in 2 weeks, and after I finished this game it had me in tears. I have spent a good amount of years on this Earth wasting my time. Not having direction. Realizing that i'm not in middle school anymore, and it's time I've stopped sitting around waiting for something good to happen in my life, I've stopped feeling bad for myself. This story will have you contemplating a lot of things, and sitting back and looking at your life, it really does go by in a blink. So to finish this review off, enjoy the time you have with family, one day you will be packing boxes, taking down the last picture off your wall, and throwing it the back of your car. It won't be a permanent goodbye, but it won't ever be the same again. Thank you for making this beautiful game. I bawled my eyes out, and it was an experience like no other.
