If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be Satan’s son, drunk off your hooves, and mowing down hordes of enemies with a shotgun named after your favorite hangover cure, then Big Drunk Satanic Massacre (or BDSM, because subtlety is for quitters) is the game you never knew you needed. Plot? Who Needs It! The “story” is as gloriously chaotic as a bar fight during happy hour. You’re Lou, Satan’s slacker son, trying to save Hell from corporate overlords because, apparently, not even the underworld is safe from capitalism. Your mission? Shoot first, drink later (or during), and maybe, just maybe, rescue some demon ladies along the way. Gameplay? Pure Mayhem! The gameplay is like someone threw DOOM, a bottle of tequila, and an inappropriate sense of humor into a blender and hit "obliterate." You blast everything in sight while downing health-restoring booze and laughing at jokes that range from “ha, clever!” to “wow, I’m going to hell for laughing at that.” Graphics? Deliciously Over-the-Top. Visually, it’s like walking through a heavy metal album cover while slightly buzzed. The environments are absurdly hellish, the enemies are grotesquely hilarious, and Lou himself is the embodiment of every guy you see passed out at a dive bar at 3 a.m. Weapons? Ridiculously Fun. Your arsenal is as wild as the game itself. From standard guns to absurdly weird ones, every weapon feels like it was designed by someone who had one too many drinks at the design table. Add in the upgrades, and you’ll be slaying demons in style. Dialogue? Unfiltered. The humor is unapologetically crass and juvenile, with jokes that land more often than they miss. It's like Hell's version of stand-up comedy—sometimes brilliant, sometimes groan-worthy, but always entertaining. Verdict: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre is not for the faint of heart or the easily offended. It’s a drunken rampage through Hell with jokes so bad they’re good and gameplay so chaotic it should come with a hangover warning. If you’re looking for a game that’s equal parts ridiculous, irreverent, and riotously fun, pour yourself a stiff drink and dive into BDSM—you’ll never look at Hell the same way again. I picked up BDSM: Big Drunk Satanic Massacre for just under 3 dollars (on sale), and can say that it's absolutely worth it at that price! Finished in 3.8 hours I don't play twin-stick shooters, and this game's theme / dialogue aren't anywhere near my cup of tea, but I do know there is an audience for things that are inappropriate and grotesque, and the gameplay itself is very good imo. I chose to play on the easiest difficulty because I wanted to just kinda turn my brain off and shoot enemies for a few hours, and it's great for that. The levels are linearly-connected, and you can upgrade your weapons before each area. It's easy to get in to and understand, and players looking for an actual challenge can just tune the difficulty accordingly. It's mindless fun, and at 88% discount, I think it's a decent pick-up. This game also has enemies that are literally Peter Griffin (sometimes dressed as Cartman from South Park), obese Doomguys, and nazi ponies, so, that's a bonus if you're in to that lol. I'd say check it out if the trailer looks appealing to you, but if you're easily pushed away by gross-out humour and sexual references, give this one a pass.

i was bored with my games and i wanted a weird fun little game while i smoked this was on sale and was perfect for what i was looking for. Fun goofy little game if you expected more you either didn't read the name of the game or you're a little slow

Competent little twin-stick shooter with a dash mechanic. Campy story and humor from hell. Played on the steamdeck and runs great. The upgrade/store/rpg system is.. okay. It works. Wish you could go back to complete levels. Overall an above average, old-school twin-stick shooter. If you already enjoy twin-stick shooters you will like this; otherwise probably not.
