NOTE FOR ASIAN PLAYERS: Asian servers are unfortunately dead except on some weekends so your best bet is play in EU or Oceania Servers if you have good ping. more ppl for asian servers always welcome.

One of the best battlefields around when the old Dice cared about multiplayer experiences.. the single player is good not the best but it's there Sadly some servers fake the player count nowdays so you end in server with 0 people the majority of the time and is tiring check one by one using the web browser battlelog webpage to see where the real human players are at and if is with open slots to join. The other problem is punkbuster, the steam files for the game have the old version of this 2 decades old anticheat which causes kicks ez to fix by searching in google: how to update punkbuster but ngl normie users will avoid doing advanced steps just to fix the game.

This is the best Battlefield game. The debate has been over since 2013. This is it, right here. Everything great about BF3 with better class balance and better overall visuals (and I don't just mean better graphics, I'm talking target acquisition, and just generally understanding what you're looking at) Every other battlefield has been TRYING to be this good for years. And don't let the steam hours fool you, I've been max rank for a long time now. I've played this game "competitively" with private tournaments, and have 3-4 times over the years come back to it with a new group of friends to sink a few hundred more hours into it. In my opinion, this is THE best first person shooter in existence. You want close quarters and TDM style? BF4's got you. You want big open spaces and vehicles? BF4's got you. You want hardcore 1 shot you're dead pistol's only? BF4's got you. There are still a surprising number of servers up, and the community is STILL outstanding. Speaking of the community... One of my most vivid memories was when the game was still young and I was trying out a weird set up with burstfire using a heavy barrel and angled grip to make minimum recoil, and I nailed a dude from way further than the AEK normally can. The response in chat? Normally in a shooter you'd get "wow get a life" or "fucking hacker with a cheat to make that gun shoot that far!" or something like that. What did I get? "Dude what a shot! What is that set up man!?" The entire server spent the next 2 rounds discussing how burstfire set ups on high fire rate guns was such a weird thing to play around and how it made them super viable at mid ranges and extreme CQC but oddly hurt them at close range which is what they were normally good at, and pistol set ups that could help cover this weakness. And the community is STILL like that. Very welcoming with clans happy to help you learn the ins and outs of the game. This game is constantly on sale for under $10, and at that price you're guaranteed to get your money's worth. I can't recommend it enough, and if you're not sure you'll have enough people to play with, just message me. There's always room in my squad.
