Another medicore Barro game that people buy to farm cards and achievements. By the time I finish getting through the bundle, I will hate these games. Get on sale and don't expect much.

The Barro racing game series has been a disappointment over the years, with little meaningful change since its 2018 debut. The latest installment, Barro 22, released 3 years later, offers only minor updates like new vehicle types and track designs, which still look overly simplistic. However, the game does have a decent number of achievements, and the arcade-style racing can be enjoyable, especially when driving unconventional vehicles like fire engines and concrete mixers. One notable omission is the lack of a boost feature, which was present in the previous T23 edition. This feels like a step backward, as boost is a common and expected element in arcade racers. Interestingly, the game does include boost zones on some tracks, but the controls for accessing this boost are buried in the settings, which is an odd design choice. In contrast, the Barro series has traditionally offered a short boost at the start of each lap, a more intuitive implementation. While the vehicle models are detailed, the rainy and foggy weather effects are subpar. Additionally, players are advised to stick to daytime settings, as the nighttime visuals are not well-executed. The 25 tracks provide a decent amount of content, and unlocking all achievements can be a fun challenge for dedicated players. Overall, the Barro 22 entry is a modest improvement at best, offering little to entice returning fans or newcomers. The game can provide short-term entertainment, but it falls short of meaningful progression or innovation within the series.

Barro 22 is a racing game that is better in all aspects to the previous Barro games. The graphics are relatively low quality, but at least there's a bit of variation. The game has only two soundtracks from what I can see, one for the menu and one for the levels. The game has 25 different racing tracks and customizable settings to adapt the race to your liking, which is a lot considering it's price and is almost three times more than it's predecessors. It still looks like all the races are happening on a floating island, but oh well. The achievements for winning a race can be won by quitting a timed map and the physics are so stiff it makes turning very hard to enjoy. The price and the game having no bugs makes it a valid choice for a cheap racing game at least! I didn't do every tracks in the game but I'm sure some of them have those annoying sharp turns as well, but at least its the variety now it's probably passable. Overall, it's only $1 and goes on sale often, if you want an inexpensive racing game it does the job.

Barro 22 is, as far as I'm aware, not the 22nd in the Barro series. Barro 22 is a racetrack racing game in which you compete with up to 10 opponents, yourself included on 25 different tracks. Similar to other Barro games, you can adjust the weather, difficulty I think, and darkness of the levels. However, if you always have the engine on and be careful around corners, whatever the difficulty (stars) you have on, you'll be able to come #1 on any map. Unlike the previous Barro game I've played, this one is far cheaper. The only main issue I have is similar the previous Barro game I've played, this one has no music while playing on a track.
