Another medicore Barro game that people buy to farm cards and achievements. By the time I finish getting through the bundle, I will hate these games. Get on sale and don't expect much.

Barro 22 is a racing game that is better in all aspects to the previous Barro games. The graphics are relatively low quality, but at least there's a bit of variation. The game has only two soundtracks from what I can see, one for the menu and one for the levels. The game has 25 different racing tracks and customizable settings to adapt the race to your liking, which is a lot considering it's price and is almost three times more than it's predecessors. It still looks like all the races are happening on a floating island, but oh well. The achievements for winning a race can be won by quitting a timed map and the physics are so stiff it makes turning very hard to enjoy. The price and the game having no bugs makes it a valid choice for a cheap racing game at least! I didn't do every tracks in the game but I'm sure some of them have those annoying sharp turns as well, but at least its the variety now it's probably passable. Overall, it's only $1 and goes on sale often, if you want an inexpensive racing game it does the job.

Barro 22 is, as far as I'm aware, not the 22nd in the Barro series. Barro 22 is a racetrack racing game in which you compete with up to 10 opponents, yourself included on 25 different tracks. Similar to other Barro games, you can adjust the weather, difficulty I think, and darkness of the levels. However, if you always have the engine on and be careful around corners, whatever the difficulty (stars) you have on, you'll be able to come #1 on any map. Unlike the previous Barro game I've played, this one is far cheaper. The only main issue I have is similar the previous Barro game I've played, this one has no music while playing on a track.

I've been fairly negative with this series throughout the years. It should be noted that what Barro started back in 2018 hasn't really changed much. This episode titled Barro 22 was released 3 years later and beside the new types of vehicles and new tracks (that still look very simplistic) not much else was added. Still. the game has a decent amount of achievements and these arcade type racing games can be fun when you drive around in fire engines or concrete mixer trucks. In the T23 edition trucks can use boost which is not available here. This was a disappointment - after all, this is an arcade game without barely any realism. Boost, interestingly, is still available as special zones are found in some tracks that speed you up but it is funny finding the boost key binding under controls. In other Barro games a short boost is always available at the start of a new lap. I liked how detailed the vehicles look but the rainy and foggy effects are bad. Also, I do not recommend changing levels to nighttime. Just keep daytime and drive your favourite trucks (available in different colours) on all the 25 tracks to unlock all achievements. I do not see a lot of improvement in this series - this one I can recommend though as it can be fun for an hour or 2.
