Barn Finders is a fun and quirky game where you search old barns and other places for items to sell in your shop. The game has a unique look and funny characters that make it enjoyable. The gameplay is simple and easy to understand, but it can feel a bit repetitive after a while. The humor is silly and might not be for everyone, but it adds a lot of charm. If you like games about hunting for treasures and running a shop, Barn Finders is worth trying. Just don’t expect anything too deep or fancy. Rating: 7/10

It's rather limited on maps (I've seen the developers in the forums talking they are making more stuff for the game still), but I had a blast taking the time to figure everything out. I wish there was MUCH more content, I feel the items were limited if you went back to explore or get more items for money. Basically you go to a location, find all the items (and side items, if you wish). Sometimes they have little bid wars or puzzles to help you get the "job item" you were sent to the map to gather. The story is silly and out there, but it is perfect. The DLC felt a bit expensive for what you got, but overall it was a fun experience! Great to play while watching a show and not to take serious! (Screw you basketball achievement!)

This game is so damn stupid, but it's so great too. You can search locations multiple times courtesy of some visitors, so don't think each location is one and done. There's a great mix of locations, merchandise, game mechanics, and even a surprisingly good plot that does the opposite of taking itself seriously. It's not gonna win any GOTY awards, but if you wanna play as someone who looks like they're on a registry and find random crap to sell for obscene prices, then hop right in. The DLC is also better than I expected. The theme park isn't really a theme park, but it's perfectly suited to the game mechanics and is like a whole other game. To top it off, my 16 hours were all in a single sitting because I just couldn't stop playing. I'm not even finished yet!

I have this rule of thumb when deciding if a game is worth it or not. If I can get at least one hour of fun for ever dollar spent, it was a worthwhile purchase. I grabbed it while it was on sale for 11 bucks. Got 12 hours of gameplay out of it before beating it. Had a lot of fun during those 12 hours. Devs have a good sense of humor. Would recommend. At least grab it while it's on sale.
