This game combines chaotic gameplay with ethereal graphics into one convoluted masterpiece. The dark humor (not everyone gets it) is the cherry on top. Watching that motley crew of seemingly insignifficant rats work together using their grotesque techniques to reach a common goal is eye-watering and really fills me with determination. And watching the path of so many rats from so many different cultures and ways of life intersect the way it does makes me belivie that maybe, one day, our world can become as peaceful as theirs. On the other hand, this soulslike is truly only for elite gamers as it reaches difficulties i've never encountered before.

This game makes you philosophical, when you see a Jebus rat making a ball clip through the walls to trigger a suicide vest of a politically correct rat, making the ball fly to the sky to be picked up by a tractor beam of a pope rat, pulling the ball into the goalpost that triggers a nuke to be dropped onto a cat.

Playing Bad Rats has been a truly unique and entertaining experience for me. I stumbled upon this game through a friend of mine, and it has since become one of those quirky titles I enjoy revisiting. From the moment I started, I was hooked by the game's dark humor and challenging puzzles. The premise is simple yet compelling: using a variety of rats with different abilities to guide a ball to its target. Each level presents a new puzzle that requires not just strategy, but also a good deal of trial and error. The physics engine, while a bit unpredictable at times, adds to the chaotic fun and keeps things interesting. What really stands out to me is the game's sense of humor. It’s definitely on the darker side, with over-the-top animations and scenarios that are both shocking and hilarious. The art style complements this perfectly, making each level feel like a twisted cartoon come to life. While "Bad Rats" might not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer polished, mainstream puzzle games, it offers something refreshingly different. The challenging gameplay and the sheer unpredictability of the physics make for a game that’s both frustrating and immensely satisfying when you finally solve a level. Overall, Bad Rats has been a memorable addition to my gaming library. If you're looking for a puzzle game that breaks the mold with its humor and challenge, I highly recommend giving it a try.

This game changed my life... for the worse. Jokes aside, this game is actually surprisingly good. I know it's a huge meme to gift this to a friend (i've done that) but in all fairness it deserves its credit. The maps are difficult and it takes a lot of effort completing all of them and thereby getting all the achievements. The art style reminds me of old CD-ROM games and with the very dark humour it creates a very unique experience to say the least. + OST slaps hard.
