I’m not sure why this game has mixed reviews! The developer clearly crafted each area with time and attention to detail, avoiding boring, randomly generated rooms. The game captures the creepy liminal atmosphere better than most other backrooms titles. The controls are smooth, with only some occasional sticky doors that I'm sure will be fixed soon. The gameplay offers open exploration in solo/multiplayer modes and scripted, solo 'found footage' episodes. Both modes offer unique and engaging content, with the found footage offering some truly chilling moments. Overall, I eagerly await more content updates!

I really liked it a lot. If you're into Backrooms or anything similar, it's definitely worth it. I was going to give it a 10/10, but since it's still in Early Access, I found myself wanting more levels. I can say I'm going to be a little optimistic about the game because I really enjoy Backrooms, especially the Poolrooms. It has so much potential to become one of the best Backrooms games. The price is very low, and it almost doesn't have any bugs (I didn't find any, but I'm aware that some exist). The game is beautiful, and if you like Backrooms, it makes the experience even better. The multiplayer is very enjoyable, especially when playing with friends. However, because the game is short, it can sometimes be boring if you're playing alone. But in the Poolrooms, it can be very relaxing, even if you're just chatting with your friend(s) without doing much else. Of course, it's not perfect. The game’s level editor is quite bad I didn’t understand anything at first. After some time in any mode, it can get boring if you're completely alone, but that's fine. Final Opinion: It's completely understandable if you prefer to wait until the game is a bit more complete before buying it. However, the price might increase when that happens. For me, the game is worth the current price (I paid 45% off). Sorry for any mistakes my English isn't perfect, but even so, I think this game is worth my time to write about.

Decent Backrooms game with good graphics and great weather effects in the one area. If you are looking for a quick backrooms game then this is alright however I would probably wait until more levels are added as $10 for under an hour of gameplay when doing the story mode isn't really worth it. It does have a few multiplayer maps but it is pretty bare bones as of now. Hopefully the game gets updated lol cause I have played a few backrooms / liminal spaces games like a year ago and there hasn't been any updates https://youtu.be/_E51fg0eKYQ?si=g9kkDAA3whwhn7RE

IGNORE THE PEOPLE SAYING ITS A 20MIN GAME, IT IS NOT. The game has 2 kinds of gamemodes: Story (Scripted Handcrafted levels) and Escape mode (Procedurally generated levels with objectives) There are 2 story levels, one for singleplayer and one for multiplayer (they are not the same), and there are 3 Escape levels, all in multiplayer, 5 levels in total. Singleplayer is just a small addition, think of it as a tutorial for the Coop mode, this is a multiplayer game first. You need to go to multiplayer to access all the content, singleplayer only has 1 level because multiplayer is the focus of the game. (All levels can be now accessed on one same menu since patch so this is no longer confusing) Each story level is about 30 to 40 minutes, and the Escape levels can be infinite (hence the procedural generation) The people saying its a 20min game never bother to check the multiplayer experience, which is the focus of the game, and just tried the singleplayer level and made the review, they didnt bother to check all the content first or didnt know about it. The game does feature everything showcased in the steam store screenshots. Game is great, some say it has little content but let me remind you that every Backrooms Co-op game has released with little content and its been expanded upon with updates and that this is a SOLO developer. ACTUAL REVIEW: Immersive Backrooms experience with beautiful level design and a focus on liminality rather than cheap monsters. Very promising title cant wait to see more levels being added, highly recommend. Also it looks better than real life, think of The Complex level of quality but in multiplayer, awesome graphics.

Backrooms Rec. I personally think that this game has huge potential and from what I have seen/played so far, it has been great. My friend and I played this for a little while, and these are some of the things that we found to be good, some things that we thought could maybe use a little extra work, and some bugs that should be looked at sooner rather than later for playability and fun!!!! Pros -Single-Player Gameplay (especially the rain level) -Character Models -Item Models -Good analog horror feel -Good liminal space game -Drone works nice -Camera works good -Moving walls are excellent -Good sound design -Moving from wall to wall -Good Visuals Cons -Flashlights die way too quick (for only defence item) -Multiplayer escape falls flat -Drone not showing on the map (like a radar?) -Numbers for passcode easier -Bacteria is unavoidable without flashlight -FOV needs to be adjustable -Be able to turn down, or even off, head bobbing from the camera Bugs -Couldn’t see anything without a flashlight -Couldn’t see item boxes. Could see the item and interact with it, but couldn’t pick it up. -Massive black area on the floor where you couldn’t walk -Bacteria can spawn on you -Bacteria can get stuck in the floor
