Experienced on the Meta Quest 3 You can view my VR mod gameplay here: https://youtu.be/BECMkev4a2w Yes, you can play Backrooms: Escape Together in VR using the UEVR mod by Praydog. However, you have to use the latest nightly version. Also, you have to use the latest Joey Hodge fork for UEVR (backend.dll). Currently, until somebody smarter than me figures out an alternative, you have to use Synced Sequential. If you restart the game, you have to change it back to Native then back to Synced Sequential again! Motion controllers do work as a gamepad. I did not experience any major issues or CTDs. I didn't experience any optimization issues either using DLSS. There are some minor graphical issues, but I think they may just be from visuals shader effects that are intended in the game. VR Mod Rating 8/10. It looks great and there are no serious issues! I bought this game! Amazing and unnerving. Made me super scared, I can not believe how outstanding the graphics are from and indie game studio. Easily one of the best horror games I've played to date, I would highly recommend. Keep up the good work devs, I'm excited to see more out of this game and this studio.
Got a few friends together for a horror game night and decided to pick this one since I’m a big Backrooms enjoyer (and there’s a new movie coming out soon, so the hype is real!). I actually played this game back when it was in beta or around release (my memory of the Backrooms is about as reliable as the Wi-Fi there), but it looks like they’ve added quite a lot since then. There are new levels like Level -1 and Level Fun, and some extra features like character animations, which are honestly hilarious when you're running for your life with friends. One thing that really makes this game stand out compared to other Backrooms titles is the graphics quality. It looks great and really helps with the creepy atmosphere. Also, it supports up to 6 players, which is a huge plus since most co-op horror games cap at 4 players. Sure, you can sometimes find mods to increase the limit in other games, but here you can already bring a bigger group and watch the chaos unfold. Cons: Your friends will abandon you the moment a monster appears. T ^ T
