Very good game from Vanripper. I do wish there was more development on the characters before and after the missions but the gameplay is great and required alot of skill and retries for me to get through. first time trying anything from this bullethell genre but it was done in a fair and challanging way. Please do buy the art book if you have the money, Vanripper deserves it

Game is awesome. A joy to play in normal. A absolute horror in hard mode. Neat little story wrapped up in bullet hell. Honestly just wish I could know more about the background. Otherwise, 10/10. Would play again.

This game takes the infuriatingly fun aspects of helltaker, moves it from a locked puzzle style to just real time reaction speed, and its just a blast to play. it took me 3 fucking hours to beat the game on easy, and I am both dreading and looking forwards to beating this game on medium and hard difficulties. I do recommend playing the game if you enjoyed helltaker. Although I completely agree with other reviews there needs to be more levels, maybe as a dlc as with examtaker. However, the gameplay, concept, music, everything is just so well done and I'm itching for more, same with helltaker (although all we can do is reminisce for that one). 10/10 would buy the dlc again if I could, and I cannot wait to see what other games Vanripper comes up with.

holy shit the difficulty scaling for the final level is way higher than the rest on normal. honestly made it super frustrating and hurt my fingers because my controller had issues so i had to switch to keyboard.

I 100% this thing in one sitting over the course of 6.9 hours. I will likely never play this game ever again, as I have never felt such rage before in my life. Play it, if nothing else, for the ghost women.
