I feel like this is a sleeper hit that more people need to know about. I love automation games like Satisfactory and whenever I'm looking for a new one, I look in "games like Satisfactory" lists, but this one has never come up before. What an absolute GEM of a game! I'm so glad I finally discovered it. At first look, it seemed simple and cutesy, but wouldn't offer much in the way of "how can I solve this problem more efficiently?". Oh wow was I wrong! I wouldn't say it's complicated (or difficult), but it has depth I wasn't expecting. And the deeper I get, the deeper it goes. It's really fun! It also somehow manages to make something like programming fun and accessible. This is a great game for kids thinking about getting into it, and veteran programmers alike. My hats off to the developers of this one, you really have something special here!

Love it. Very relaxed resource management game with programming elements that can be as simple/complex as you want depending on your taste for efficiency, wrapped up in a nice city-builder progression system. Take your time and enjoy the problem solving process :)

I code in x++ all week long, but I was still itching to come back to this game to code some more when I had just a bit of free time... It's real fun! Like getting into any new IDE, there's a learning process too, but wasn't too bad. I wish I had this game instead of Alice back in CSCI 160... Or maybe not as I would have spend even more time playing it than doing my homework. Either way, full recommendation from me! I'm impressed by how deep and complex it gets, more than one would think at face value.

I want to be clear this is a conditional recommendation. The game concept itself lands in a pretty weird place on the "Cute vs Complex" graph being all the way at the far end of both scales.

I tried this game years ago and was turned off by the funky controls (Holding Shift and Middle Mouse Button to rotate the camera for example) and overwhelming, complicated tutorial. Tried it again tonight and just powered through my bad first impressions and enjoyed myself a 9 hour long session. its very satisfying to actually get a successful loop of bots infinitely chopping and planting trees, storing away the logs, making them into planks and wood poles etc.
